Sorry for bothering i like to know if there any script for RMXP that actually work for looping OGG?

I try several way to make OGG loop in rmxp like the one writen in this thread
( http://www.rpgmakervx.net/?showtopic=10847 ) but it fail to work in RMXP although that ogg work when i use RMVX.

I also tried FMOD from
http://www.rmxp.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=55486.0
But the loop sometime work and sometime not, so its like a broken song.

So anyone can help with this?
Thanks
Part of the problem IS with RPGMaker XP. The system was designed for .wav, .mid, .mp3 and .ogg audio files, to be sure. However, only .mp3 audio files can be streamed. That is not saying that you cannot use .ogg music files. You can. But the entire .ogg music file must be loaded for it to play while .mp3 music files are played the moment the file is accessed and it continues loading the file while playing... virtually no delay when the file is accessed.
Quote:However, since RPG Maker XP doesn't support OGG streaming, the entire file must be loaded before it can be played, making it unsuitable for longer pieces.

But the newer RPGMaker VX system does allow streaming .Ogg format
Quote:Files with a playtime of 3 seconds or more will automatically be streamed.

The system was redesigned after realizing that the Ogg Vorbis format was becoming more popular. It is also a license free format... me likey!
Is that mean RMXP wont able to read ogg loop point, even with a script? Cry
Unless someone manages to find a way to access and rewrite the Audio Hidden class to handle looping (and hopefully streaming) .Ogg Vorbis music files, no.

I am not saying it is 'impossible' as Cogwheel managed to create a nifty script for looping .mp3 files in key points without having to directly edit the mp3 files themselves (and I have a post for it here). So if someone could manage to figure out how to manipulate .Ogg files the same way...

... but they need an extensive knowledge of this hidden class... among other things. Even so, I don't think the files can be streamed... dangit.

I've been hoping someone would figure it ouy too...
