I was looking through my dad's old Playstation 1 games, and I found Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete. I played it... again, and I found out that the Battle System is kind of neat. It would also be a good one to put in a new project. Here's a couple screens.

If I remember correctly, the characters, and enemies move determining the enemy positions. That and I also know that you can set up the positions of all the characters. Here's another screen.

How do I make something like this?
