As the title says, I should like to have a save-point system that disables saving by default, but enables saving in-menu (not the call save screen event command) at designated save-point events (while standing in their position, they will be set to "through") and on the world map.

Heap big thankies for anyone who takes a shot at this.

Very happy + Tongue sticking out
I'm not sure you necessarily need a script for this. It could be cheap, but you could always have this sort of set up:
- Surround the save point in events. These all call the command to disable saving and dare activated by touch.
- The save point has two pages. On the first page it is activated by touch, enables saving, turns on Self Switch A, and plays that save-point 'ding'. On the second page it is called by button press and Self Switch A; and can call the save screen that way as well as from the menu.

- You can also enable and disable saving via event in events going to and from the world map.
Shocked You're so awesome I could kiss you! That did the trick and worked like a charm! One thing, second time I touch said event it does not do the save-point ding&message, anything else I should add?
Oh, yes. Hahah. Okay er... maybe not a self switch then. Make a "Save Point" switch or something, change the self switch settings to that, and add the command to turn it off to the events surrounding the save point.

There's probably a way to reduce this to one event (and not be laggy), though I'm not sure of it at this time.
Frikken A awesome! exactly right!!!
