So point of reference, you're still using that Tactical, right?

I'm not sure when (or if) I'll get the chance to make charset animation patches, or an at-like system. But the animation system in MrMo's was actually quite well done where it lets you have multiple charactersets for each battler on the field map. That is both a statement of fact and of reassurance.... and a plug for any other scripter if they're also interested.
