Okay, this is probably common knowledge, but someone hasn't heard of this before, so here we go...

This Flash and HTML 5 tool allows you to create an unlimited number of poses and busts for sci-fi, superhero, and even fantasy creations, and still gives you enough freedom to move things around and make your picture yours. Use the preset colors and textures provided, or export it as a black and white cutout, print it out, and color it in, re-scan it back, cut it out and blammo.

hero machine is neat, I played with it once upon a time

but I'm not much of a fan of the others... I'd stick to the full body doll makers, that way you get something a little more interesting than what comes out of the RM generator

Oh yeah, Elouai Doll makers are the best in my opinion.
