I also have a question: assuming I can finish this in time I'd like to hand it to someone to check the spelling and grammar and that only. Would that be all right?
I don't really see that as being a problem but I'll check with my friend later on today just to be sure.
It's an interesting question actually because the contest rules never specified anything about working in teams.
Just checked with my friend and it's perfectly acceptable. Go ahead and have your game play tested before submitting, not a problem. :)
Oh, good =D
With the amount of typos I make on a regular basis, this is a relief XD
The trick to making typos work for you is to write it off as satire.

I once made a game based off of Groundskeeper Willie. Perfect excuse for typos.
As a quick reminder there's only a week left.
At this point, I might as well point out that you have until the 30th, Tuesday Night... Two days away!
I'm working, I'm working!
XD'
Altough I'm pretty sure I won't make it. (Why did both deadlines have to overlap? Arg! XD')
Actually, seeing as there are timezones and all, how much time is left exactly?
It's ok, just remember that we take unfinished entries. I know I'll be submitting an unfinished one.
Also seems like my friend decided to be super generous and give the actual day of the deadline itself...
Quote:Just a reminder that you guys have until midnight EST on October 1st (that is, including the whole day) to submit your game. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here.
So is this about right then?

That just might be enough to get this into a playable state then.
