LOL WHERE DO YOU EVEN GET THESE EMOJIS!
Well, I got some good news bad news here.... and all regarding timing.

I came up with a timer system that scrolls the arrows for the DDR system, and even included a form of resync system. That is, it may be running some arbitrary speed where the arrows scroll up at a constant rate. But every so often, it may 'nudge' the arrows up a little more every few seconds just to keep the arrows flashing in sync.

With that, the arrows can be adjusted to run in sync with the music if properly timed!!!!

...........but that falls apart when player interaction occurs. The reason being is that more commands and statements are run. And those commands to take up little segments of processing time. So when you press some key, it throws the timer off. And that means your DDR button keys won't be properly synced with the music. And that's pretty much needed for a proper DDR.

On the plus side, making the player DANCE (or at least a linked event) wasn't hard. I merely took some code from my Lycan ABS's animation system to just play a charset animation. Dance Step Left .... Dance Step Right.... Dance Step Down... Hehehe... That was worked out quickly.

Still, I have to come up with some other timing system. Possibly based on the RMXP Internal timer itself.

hey you got like 75% working and I'm uber happy bout it! Very happy + Tongue sticking out
I'm positive you'll figure out something for the player dance animation input
being able to time music is HUGE for me so I'm overly excited about the progress!
(I'm working on music soon once I finish graphics for the Jello Shooter Minigame) Grinning
I diddent know XP already had a timer system! thats neat!
(do you need a beta tester or not yet? and is there screenies or not yet? ...I'm fine either way! I'm just happy!)
Yep, RPGMaker XP has a timer system. The system is used to keep track of the game time and other facets of game play.

Okay... lesse.... Can you find three charsets? One microphone on a stand, one keyboard and stand (for someone to stand behind) and a drum set.

character sets? hmm I'm not the best at this but let me see what damage I can do..I will make sure what I find clearly states whether its commercial use or not

http://hydrasis.deviantart.com/art/Music-Room-452991174 has a keyboard....no stand..also papers! always useful
https://rpgmaker.net/games/4564/blog/ this site has band instruments but its for a different project

not really finding anything else....I found a hanging gallows...a noose ....a witch burning stake...when I was looking for instruments?
odd

hmm...

not finding anything...

here! I know its not the best as I Ive never drawn instruments before but I hope its at least mildly useful!

(no idea what your using it for...dancing minigame doesent really need it (unless your thinking of something visually appealing? but if its for someone else I'm fine with it as well!)

they're commercial and free use...dont bother about credits its not very good
Oh, the drums n stuff are gonna be bigger. I mean G**-er... someone has to stand behind them to play em. Winking
