the official banner is done so I thought the best way of celebrating about a year and a half worth of work is SHAMELESS PROMOTION! is to post it up in the forum site that helped us out the most and supported us to continue on with this commercial project!

Yesteryear is NOWHERE NEAR DONE! and it will probably take a year or two to finish it and get it on steam!
since SP has been the best for us production-wise and support-wise we decided to EXCLUSIVELY post up the free demo version of Yesteryear periodically with small storyline updates until the demo is fully compleated!
(then once the games done you can continue the story on steam!)
also screenies we'll be updating this thread with screenies!

Heya everyone, got some sneak peeks of our current progress. So far we are still working on adding more dynamic content (and working out kinks of the current stuff), but here's a couple of screenshots or so to get y'all some idea of how our game project is looking so far. ^_^
Please also take into consideration that any and all contents, current and future, can and will be subject to changes until the final game is completed ^_~ We are currently using an animated bust system so the screenshots aren't exactly showing that off ^^; But we hope you like what you see and we encourage y'all to let us know what you think as we progress along.

Ok, a couple of new screenshots! This is showing the addition of Heretic's Dynamic Lighting System, still working kinks of course. Did some refinements to the scenes, especially to accommodate the light system's night and day bits. Also have an animated .gif to kind of show off the animated bust. So yea you can see the alley way updated and of course some animated bust samples :D

Hello everyone,
Just thought to keep this thread fresh by posting a few screenshots of some new updates implemented into the game currently. Mostly it's updates to the current scenes and title menu, making them more "alive and real" and less isolated, etc. Light and shadow plays a great role in creating atmosphere here and we are working to add/find music to complete it. Next demo update will allow for you to cross the roads (but not into areas you can't pass, of course) and move a tad more freely. Features are getting some bit of refinement and fixes, and aside from minor kinks we are still working on, it's coming along really well, considering the amount of folks working on this. We have been and are still concentrating on making the main features work properly before we concentrate on the rest of the content, once we are satisfied with the functions working as well as we can get it to, we can have a much faster workflow on getting the game making into gear. So for now here's more teasers for you :) Still in the process of refinement but a bit of eye candy is always good :P
