I don't think other scripts are causing the problem.

Bizarre. This is a full version of RMXP like from steam? Or is it the postality knights version? I know that one used to have a lot of problems with scripts and such.

Which version is yours?
Since yours work, it might work for me too as mine is not from Steam's (which soon will be if it is the one from Steam that works well).

Went to buy the Steam version on the spot and installed it.
Set up a new project and pasted the script above Main, the same line 236 error pops up again.

Just to confirm, you've not changed anything in the script so far, and you've pasted it between Scene Debug and Scene Main?

Yes. I made an entry for the Runic script below Scene_Debug and above Main (does not say Scene_Main in mine). The error refused to leave me alone in my current and the New/Testing Project.

Hm... The limits of my knowledge are reached it seems. Without being able to replicate the problem I can't do much :<
I hope that Derv can work out what's up.

If you've changed nothing in the script or the game itself, then try adding skill 81 to the game.
It's all I can think of, since that's the Runic skill by default in the script 

I'm not a scripter, so I wouldn't know exactly, so if that doesn't work, then we'll have to wait for our dear VVulfy.
