According to the article below, Google plans to block more and more downloads based on its mixed contents or its corresponding level of security risk. O_O The more you update your browser, the least you'll be able to download as usual.

Is it really necessary to get to this point, Google? O_o? Or are you just being extremely paranoid now?

Either paranoia or some kind of control over what the user can download. I think. I'm guessing it's more of paranoia than controlling what the user can do, but whatever.
