The XP & ACE Ports Have Been Updated Again!
This time it happened after some forumer made a simple suggestion.

Why couldn't the Falcon or Crow

be deactivated by pressing the same button?
So far, you needed to press SHIFT aka A button in the RM series to take off and ENTER aka OK button to land on top of "the player" (actually its Doppelgänger event).
From now onward, you can simply press SHIFT on both occasions and it will work fine.

The XP Port Now Has a HUD!

To be honest with you, I didn't see the need for this HUD, but a customer kept telling me to offer one to anyone in the same situation as he is.
That's why there is a separate demo with a help HUD included!
You Don't Need the HUD?
Or You Think It's Great?
It Doesn't Matter!
Now you can decide if you wanna implement the HUD or not.
Valid for both RMXP and RMVX ACE!

How do you do that?

Well, it's pretty simple. You just

delete it from the face of the earth or simply leave it as it is.

How is that possible now?

That's a fair question indeed. It happens that I thought that adding the HUD shouldn't be mandatory so I simply turned it into a separate script and it works smoothly for sure!

A Little Falcon Was Not Satisfied With Its Fixed Settings
So starting from version
1.0.1, you can now set the HUD's background color and color fill type at will.
New Script Call
Code:
Falkoner.hud_type = :gradient
Or you just set the initial value of the
@hud_type variable to :gradient inside the Falkoner module.
Acceptable Values are
:solid,
:translucent and
:gradient.
Your Birdie
Doesn't Like to Fly Under Severe Weather Conditions
Let's be honest here. Who would love to get out on a rainy day? Or when the snowfall gets ugly enough as to make it impossible to see just anything...
Well, now versions
1.3.0 try to recreate that by reducing your avian fellow's speed a bit based on the current weather conditions. No bad weather will let him fly around like crazy while a snowfall will try to freeze his poor wings.

Actually, it'll just slow him down quite a bit.
Stop Exploiting Your
Birdie!
Seriously, ever since version
1.4.0 have been released, you won't be able to abuse of your avian companion anymore!

I really mean it!
The new feature forces the player to walk around for a while your bird is resting. For the meanwhile, you'll be able to check some avian's stats. Once your feathered friend feels strong enough as to conquer the skies once more, it will start flapping its wings vigorously.
Anyway, there's nothing to worry about because you can level your bird up to be able to reduce the number of steps required for activating your falconer's ability once again.
Maintenance Update For RMXP
Both versions,
1.3.0 and
1.4.2, have been modified. Those ports were unable to display the corresponding falcon's state message because it couldn't find the VLGothic font.
But don't worry

my friends! It has been fixed by using an array as a font list.
The
1.4 series also lacked a getter method for the level_pause_steps instance variable. Now it does have one as originally intended. The custom Falkoner button

for your

avian friend can also be used to close your birdie's stats window from now on.
