Yes, I'd advise to uninstall the old one.

Thanks for your feedback. I'll take the time to give you some answers later, first I would like to understand why it crashed. When did this happen? It's the first crash report I get.

Played it and I love the look. The game was a bit slow for me, but I can see how it would work against another player online, that would really make it shine. Awesome stuff!

I'm working on giving it a faster pace.
Also, I'm looking for a voice actor for the indiegogo promotional video. Here's the script:
Quote:Hartacon Tactics is a turn-based strategy RPG.
The game features a single-player campaign, and several multiplayer modes to challenge your friends around the world, with the possibility to fight among up to six players and to form alliances.
The characters roster includes eight classes, each able to equip two types of weapons.
All weapons of a given type, for example swords, bows, axes, have their own attack pattern, and grant the use of a specific line of skills: ranging from pure magic spells, to creation of barriers, modification of the maps, throwing allies and enemies, damaging their equipment, and more, making each class unique and strategically different.
Hartacon Tactics is not a game of chance: classic strategic RPG elements such as formations, direction of attack, heights, elemental damage, altered states, all work in a deterministic way and have a fundamental role in determining the outcome of your moves, and eventually which player will emerge victorious.
Experience earned on the battlefield gives you upgrade points to spend for developing characters, acquiring new skills and increasing their stats. With received gold you can buy better weapons, protections and accessories.
Single-character and team-based turns give you a great variety of gameplay, plus, Hartacon Tactics has a complete in-game map editor, where players will be able to build custom maps for their battles.
Hartacon Tactics is developed with XNA 4 and will be released for PC, and for XBOX 360 in the indie games section of XBOX Live.
Does anybody want to help?

Yeah I could give it a shot if you want. I have a really good microphone and audio production knowledge to give it a professional finish. If you don't mind my English accent that is.

It would be great, you're even over-prepared. Just an info note, I need pauses between sentences, as I will cut and paste this into the video sections. English accent is fine. :)
I had asked a friend here with a very deep voice, a guy from the old days, but he couldn't... guess who... :P

Finally managed to play the new version more thoroughly and it pleases me you've fixed the bugs/possible improvements I mentioned in my bug reports :)
Love it how you included the port town level I sent you ^^
The game plays a lot faster already than it used to which is great.
I like how the base layout of the campaign is being set up though ofc it'll be expanded upon in the future.
Some things I thought of:
-How many turns does it take for a fire wall to disappear? Maybe make it possible to cast it even when it's blocked partially, then those blocked parts could be ignored and the other tiles would still be placed, making the skill more useful.
-For some reason the game crashes when I close it, it's a minor thing, though of course something to look into before the final release. Do other people have this as well?
-Needs the possibility to change control scheme. (or I didn't find it >.>)
Looking forward to it!

Hello guys, if you tried the demo, could you please inform me if you played it on Windows 8 and/or Windows 8.1. Thank you!

Right now they don't. In the future they will have HP and it will be possible to destroy them. Some types could also be timed.
