You may have MORE fun right now.
I just uploaded the HK Template Tool. This tool allows you to view your template and your work file, seeing it animated and allowing you to select between each of the eleven (11) minkoff-based action poses (Ready, Attack, Dead... etc). It even allows you to view the template or your own work separate from each other, all of which at 3 times the normal scale so you can witness it in finer detail.
It was made with RPGMaker XP. but works on PCs without the need of the RTP. A compressed/encrypted project, you have access to a 'Templates' folder in the tool's root directory which contains a Template file (the Sword Template) and a simple example overlay named "EXTRA.png".
Whatever template you put into this folder, it must be named Template.png. And whatever overlay you're doing, whether hair, eyes, 9mm Beretta, hospital gown, it must be named 'Extra.png'. You need to have both a Template and Extra file in the Templates folder for it to work.
What would be the point otherwise?

Amazing what you can do with a bit of event code and some scripting.
