Maps and screenshots thread - Charlie Fleed - 10-25-2009 Yes, I agree. I have already changed it with this: Maps and screenshots thread - Yin - 10-25-2009 I like that one better. It's smaller and would look good in a corner. Maps and screenshots thread - Archeia - 10-28-2009 Maps and screenshots thread - MusicalSwordsman - 10-28-2009 Is this your original work Archeia? Looking good. Some things you need to improve imo are these- The table legs are way too long for the size of the characters, and the angle of some of the objects are off too. The books should look as if you see them more from the top. Same for the Cauldron and stool, more of a circle( or a more rounded oval shape) look is needed. Here's a quick example with your map, this is what i think you should change for the better. The pots at the bottom right look ok, you only need a tad of an angle fix for these. Maps and screenshots thread - Alpha-Mad - 10-28-2009 Wow Archeia! I'm impressed! I really wish I could draw because all my tilesets would look like this. The book on the table and the stool in the back seem a little out of place. Also, the angle of the room seems odd, it's a little too overhead. Really awesome, especially the sprites. Maps and screenshots thread - Yin - 10-28-2009 The art work is really nice Archeia, I like the watercolor painting style or whatever style that is. I hardly noticed the angle errors (due to me being an art screw-up). Keep it up. Is that a panorama? Maps and screenshots thread - Archeia - 10-28-2009 @Freak of Nature, oh my goodness, thank you! I was looking for that kind of comment :D Thank you so much <3 And yes I made it, I'm going to fix it straight away ;w; @Alpha-mad yeah I was thinking of overhead when I made that, for abs reasons XD @Yin thanks :D I hardly notice angle errors too since I'm not used to this :( Maps and screenshots thread - MusicalSwordsman - 10-28-2009 No problem, if you need help with this sort of thing again i'm happy to help :) Maps and screenshots thread - MusicalSwordsman - 10-30-2009 One from me! Just need to find a good Pixel Movement script which is a must for this template on XP. The color and shape of those pots is a wip :) Maps and screenshots thread - computerwizoo7 - 11-01-2009 Wow i see some good maps here! |
