Did two sketches which will likely be full blown renders before too long. I've realized it's been ages since I've drawn Svoli in her old garb before she became a Serazen or Apotropaic Goddess. Combine that with a drawing i briefly glimpsed on twitter that I can't fucking find now-- and we arrive at the present continuum with the following!

I remembered to hit record this time too, yayyyy! Now I just gotta remember to do that for the linework, colorwork, shading and effects!
This one might potentially end up being a full blown render as well. Depending on factors she might be left until december seeing as I intend to draw Hanako this month. I also intend to draw Yukino but that will be in december. See Demos' art thread if you want to know who those two are.

Welp, I finished the render of Svoli, quicker than expected but man I was stuck at a convention the whole day and so I was ITCHING to work on it.

This one went super well. A couple of my fans have compared my work with studio ghibli and while I've never not accepted such high praise, I could never believe it- my inner critic insisting I wasn't close to that level at all.
But after this... I'm not so sure anymore. This is one of those art pieces I liked more and more the further I worked on it. I wonder if this level of quality will just be a one off... A lucky phenomenon? Or will this be the kind of quality I have going forward?
I didn't do all that much different, the shading methods, the lighting, and so on- all very similar to how I typically do things. So this time, I think it's just the stellar pose that makes it feel so powerful.
Also, it only took 7 hours. That has now been condensed into an 11 minute speed draw for your viewing pleasure~
