@KasperKalamity Haha you should've thrown a tomato at the guy, for some reason I'm picturing him wearing suspenders and a turtleneck.

What's on my mind? I want some damn peace and quiet, that's what is on my mind!

What's on my daughter's mind is another story, she can't stop talking about her birthday and "if you don't get me what I want I'm going to be MAD!" She's got these exact items that she keeps asking for, I've already got it written down. I tell her "I don't think they have that anymore," and she corrects me like "well I know Target has it, you go two isles down by Electronics and..." @_@

She's VERY particular, and she's only three (going on four.) Not only does she keep talking about her wishlist, she rolls out every detail of how she wants her party, like "At three-thirty we're going to play on the rides and at five we're going to eat pizza and at five thirty we're going to sing happy birthday and you're going to stand behind me and blow out candles and at five thirty eleven we're going to..." That's the easy part, I'm not going to bother typing out the meticulous details of present opening and the logistics behind getting them to the house. Oh lord...

My son finally got sick of playing InFamous, but now he's onto another game that I don't want him playing, Saints Row 2. A week of him begging to play it went by, I kept refusing because its too violent. Another week went by, I caught him playing it and confiscated it, gave it back to his older brother. While I'm at work he's been stealing it and playing it so much that I turned to his older brother and told him "You keep this game away from him," and he's like "Well... he earned this game, he's already twice as far as I am in it, plus I'm sick of stealing it back all the time!" Then, my young son runs up to me, and he's like "Daddy I know this game is violent and wrong but its just a game, I know better than that. But check it out, I can repo somebody's car and get cash, guess who was late on their payments today!"

I guess I'm good at raising intelligent children, I just suck at arguing and reasoning with them lol

Haha that's hilarious but also a mix of awesome and despair all at once. I feel sorry for you.

That's how you teach kids to be intelligent, critical thinkers. they have to challenge you all the time on everything. this isn't a bad thing. that's what's so wrong with schools and basically every other institution that revolves around a top down authority structure. it may not seem like it to you now, because you've already had the kids and had to do that fast track maturity thing that comes with the shock of 'oh shit this screaming poo monster depends on me completely', but when kids can mentally outmaneuver their parents, or anyone else that keeps them down, it's the greatest feeling in the world.

Well, for me, what's on my mind at the moment is just a desire to get a paid music position. I may be starting to get Amnesia'd out, for one, even in regards to my custom music. :P

Today is a troubblesome date for me.
On one hand it is a date that marks the beginning of something that has become a huge part of my life and helped me to become the person I am today. It is a day that I celebrate with many of my friends.
On the other hand however, it also marks the passing of a great man who I had huge respect for (still do, actually, even tough he's been dead for a few years now) who was unfairly wronged in his life despite all the good things he did.
I really don't know what to feel today, should I be joyfull of sad?

Today my random thoughts were not only invaded but also violated by the Apple product advertisement machine! On my way to work, I heard an innocent little commercial about something having to do with the iPhone.

About twelve hours later, I'm sitting alone in my house with no television on, just working on graphics and listening to some music. "Ah, lets find the ear phones so nobody is woken up by these epic jams," my brain tells me so I go fetch. I'm having trouble seeing what I'm working on because of whatever nonsense, I don't remember, but suddenly my brain is like "but it would be cool if we had eye phones."

Then I was like "Yeah they don't make... you mean iPhones? They make them but I'm not going out to buy us a pair."

I reiterate from the shout I made in the shoutbox:

Current status: SUCKS! Power out in mah neighborhood (even the free wireless is gone). Using a lappy and phone line to say I may be out till power restored.

Since I have the gazette files on my main PC and not on flash drive, that means I cannot work on it nor post it if power isn't restored. This means it may be a bi-weekly issue next time around.

Sorry Kore. I know you keep saying "Where's mah Gazette!"

I want to post some of my writing in the hidden writing section of the forum but I'm still debating which story to write for it. Hmm...

Edit:
Ok I chose one. :)
