RE: What's on your mind? - millarso - 08-03-2012 Yeah, it is really a pain in the butt sometimes. Living in the US, I don't technically need it, especially since I don't get sick very often either, but my school requires me to. They offer their own insurance for a hefty premium if you don't have your own. I imagine that the German government makes it mandatory because even if you don't get sick, having no insurance makes you quite the liability. RE: What's on your mind? - KasperKalamity - 08-03-2012 it can't be just me. i don't know anyone who gets sick enough that having health insurance would be of any use. that has got to be the worst system i have ever heard of. if you can't afford it, the government gets to look at your private financial information, and give you rules? what kind of class warfare fuckery is that? the only insurance we have to have is auto insurance. it's not the law, but 'murica is waaaaaay behind the rest of the world when it comes to public transportation. they build shit MILES apart, and if you don't drive, you have to walk. but i'm sure you think 'murica must have sidewalks. NO! you're poor, fuck you, walk in the mud where you belong, peasant. RE: What's on your mind? - yamina-chan - 08-03-2012 I'm not going to attempt to explain how the whole damn system here works, because it is way to complicated XD' It usually is a good system and works fine, and there's way more to it then what I said (I'm just giving you squetches of it, not the full deal because come on! XD) only sometimes, when you turn up with an unusual case like me right here, it get's complicated and messy. That's the flaw. Everything out of the ordainary has a chance of becoming chaos. Anyway, let's move on before this turns into a discussion of politics and other complicated matters. ^^' RE: What's on your mind? - KasperKalamity - 08-03-2012 i'm running for president in 11 years, i have to be up on what's going on in the world. RE: What's on your mind? - JayRay - 08-03-2012 I'm thinking of going back to school for 3d design and game design... RE: What's on your mind? - PK8 - 08-04-2012 Sleep paralysis happened again, though it lasted a little longer than the last time. How do I know this? I heard my cellphone trying to alarm me to wake up 3 times. RE: What's on your mind? - Python Blue - 08-05-2012 For anyone interested, I released my latest album, today. The Bandcamp version includes a bonus track of me doing an attempt of singing. XD http://sgtyayapproductions.bandcamp.com/album/prison-of-the-mind-2 RE: What's on your mind? - MetalRenard - 08-05-2012 Thought I was going to get a break this month since I realised one of my things that was due was pushed back a month... Then realised I had a ton of other stuff I would have to do now instead. Damn! Hahaha RE: What's on your mind? - Kain Nobel - 08-07-2012 The lady who used to be my boss (before I promoted) had called me today to announce some bad news; her son had been shot and is in critical condition. With that said, she'll probably be leaving town in the next couple of days to be with him. It's sounding like I might have to run and schedule for both stores, but I won't officially know until tomorrow. It's really sad hearing about this, I hope he is going to be alright but getting shot is never fun. What's worse is I've always felt this was going to one day happen; he is a very easy going dude who generally stays out of trouble, but whenever I saw him come by my old work, he's usually hanging out with some shady looking individuals. You've always gotta watch who you are friends with and be careful who you're helping out, some folks are legitimate but others are just there to make your life hell. RE: What's on your mind? - millarso - 08-07-2012 That is sad, man. I hope he heals up alright. It's pretty messed up how often people get tied up with shady individuals. The way I see it, guys like that might appear to be your friend on the outside, but if they are dealing in any weird stuff, they probably don't have your best interests in mind like a friend should. |
