Maps and screenshots thread - UniPuniPudding - 01-06-2010 Ah well...here goes. I'mma newb at RM since I only got the software a month or two ago, but yeah... Wanna loose the newb-ness faster. =w= -Old Project (Temporarily eh...abandoned until I can think of what happens next.) -Current Project Maps and screenshots thread - Jaberwocky - 01-06-2010 Your walls are missing the actual wall portions o_o 3 squares to the left of the top stairs, you're using a tile meant for the middle of a cliff as the base of a cliff. The bottom right tree is missing part of the shadow, and the one next to it has the shadow in mid-air. Also, the stairs are using the grassy cliff edge, but the cliff itself is not. Those are all the mapping errors I see. I'll let someone else deal with everything else xD So anyways equip menu is finished :O Except the icons. And the data for the equipment. And the actual process of equipping things. BUT YOU CAN OPEN IT AND CLOSE IT AND VIEW THE ITEM INFO ALSO IT MAKES SOME SOUNDS AND STUFF Maps and screenshots thread - Charlie Fleed - 01-07-2010 This is how my Skills Learning System looks in my "test-bed" game: Maps and screenshots thread - Xayden - 01-07-2010 Charlie Fleed Wrote:This is how my Skills Learning System looks in my "test-bed" game: Nice layout, I like it Here's one of the default battlesystem I've heavily modified. Maps and screenshots thread - Lunarea - 01-07-2010 That's pretty neat, Xayden! The customized stuff makes it look unique, and I really like that the background for character data is semi-transparent :) Here's my screenshot: I know about the missing tile on the roof on the right. Fixed it, but I didn't want to screencap again. Also, I need to add shadows for the lamps. Other than that ... It's Freas, the "starter" town. I might do something with the ground. I'm not sure I'm 100% happy with it yet. Maps and screenshots thread - Xayden - 01-07-2010 Thanks for the kind words. I've improved it since I've posted it :] And thats a nice map! Something that would be good to add to it would be a second mud tile, one slightly darker to create more shade Maps and screenshots thread - No ID - 01-08-2010 Regular Forest In game use of Atoa's battle system Maps and screenshots thread - Jaberwocky - 01-09-2010 CURSE YOU, DIGI STOP MAKING ME HAVE TO SPRITE WEIRD CRAP LIKE CROCODILE MEN AND OTTERCARTS AND "CAT RAMBO W/FLAMETHROWER" WHATEVER THAT IS Maps and screenshots thread - Charlie Fleed - 01-10-2010 I changed the tileset to make the maps look more tridimensional. What do you think? Maps and screenshots thread - DerVVulfman - 01-10-2010 Amazing what a little shading can do. Certainly an improvement as far as the forest vegetation is concerned. |
