Back in high school I joined a ska-punk band, but I personally thought it was childish music so I left the bros for a girl named Kristi. Anyways, Kristi's dad was the guitarist for a heavy metal band, so I spent some time trying to learn how to play that electric fiddle of his. For a little bit, he was cool enough to let my loser friends and I come over and use their band's instruments so we could practice our own gigs.

That didn't work out long, Kristi and I eventually broke up, he told us to fuck off and leave his family alone. :X

Anyways, I wound up hanging out with a group of wiggers who did their freestyle gigd during lunch and wound up forming a hip hop group with three of them dudes. Things were cool until I realized two of the four members were just ripping off KMK and Cypress Hill material, so the one original member and I went off to do our own thing. Once my 'best friend' contracted a drug habit, I quit talking to any of them and tried to start my own solo gig, writing my own dope ass lyrics and producing beats with a pirated copy of FL Studio 2. Hey, I was 15, not even legal age to work yet, don't judge me! Anyways...

I got in contact with my best friend from elementary school days, we made our own original lyrics and beats and became a duo. After recording seven or eight tracks for a demo, he spontaneously signed us up to perform live with a bunch of other local acts. We weren't properly rehearsed or prepared, so we forgot our material in the second track and had to improvise. People loved it. My ex was dating somebody else that was performing at the show, but she gave me a big hug and told us we did awesome. Heck, even her boyfriend gave us props, but it was still awkward lol.

I got with a new girl in 2004, her brother happened to be into the rap thing too, I introduced him and his friends to Pro Tools, FL Studio, Acid, etc and gave them some of my old material. These guys went on to produce their own music and even impressed the likes of DJ Quik and Bone Thugs. We would come out whenever we could to support them but, at that time, I was done with rap, metal, punk, etc and had no desire to be famous or anything, but I'd still like to see them hit it big.

Actually, I did buy a guitar and start a couple of metal bands that didn't last long and there is more to the story but I'm ending it here.
