It rolls off the tongue a little more easily. RE: What's on your mind? - yamina-chan - 12-07-2012 How did this happen? XD' A while back I brought a birthday present for a friend of mine that I knew she'd love -only to find out she bought it the exact same day. Now I've recived my birthdaypresent from her (a day late, but if you send things with the post you can't be certain it'll be there on time so that's okay ^^) and it's something I've allready got *laughs* We obviously know what would make a good present but haven't been able to give it to each other in time XD RE: What's on your mind? - MetalRenard - 12-07-2012 That's cute. ^_^ I'm taking 2 days off from working on my album (mix/production). It's a lot of hard work, especially after 10 days straight with no breaks! Gotcha mentioned there for both your writing lectures and IndiSam. RE: What's on your mind? - yamina-chan - 12-09-2012 We have a facebook page? I forgot all about that. On my mind at this moment: a) Ooookaaay...why does Steam tell me there is no DLC for Portal 2 when I know there is? I can't get it at the homepage either. So...now what? How do I get it? XD' b) After spending hours and hours of learning for the tests I'll write next week I still don't feel like I remember much. =/ c) So the back of the Kenshin OVA I bought tells me it takes place right about the start of the Manga/Anime. However, if I go by the artstyle, this is the one that takes place years after the manga has ended. Animexx tells me the same thing. Who do I trust? Do I risk spoilers? RE: What's on your mind? - KasperKalamity - 12-09-2012 you know what the magic formula is to make me want to work on my game? any kind if debilitating injury. i pulled a muscle in my back, and i can't get in any comfortable working position for more than 15 min without cursing the day i was born. also, it's almost 2013, would it kill icy hot to make a patch that doesnt stick to itself? it's bad enough i have to be a contortionist to reach the spot where it hurts... RE: What's on your mind? - Kain Nobel - 12-09-2012 Got home at 11pm, my new supervisor asked if I could come in at 7am. I figured the best thing to do was to go to bed as soon as I got home, but dear lord my gf's snoring is horrendous. Laid down until about 4:30am, now I'm up questioning if I've even been to sleep yet. Was just about to try to go back to sleep, but now my daughter is up bugging me to play Angry Birds >.> RE: What's on your mind? - MetalRenard - 12-10-2012 /rant In my times spent on forums and in online communities I often come across things that just make me sick. One of these things is composers/music "producers". Yes, you read that right. It makes me sick when I see the number of people who just throw themselves at anything, it's like watching kids in a playground waiting to be picked for a game of football, all fighting to be picked first, it's just so petty and weak. These people have no self respect! They do not know the worth of what they do and because of them, nobody else understands that worth either. They make all of us look like imbeciles and depreciate the value of all that hard work you must put in to mastering your art. It's not rare for me to see a thread in forums with a large number of so-called "producers" whoring themselves out FOR FREE just for the recognition of writing music. It's just dumb! Stupid! Idiots. Another one that pisses me off is the miss-use of the term "producer", because now-days, EVERYONE is apparently a "producer"! A REAL producer is someone who can record, mix and master a track, or at least mix a track, professionally. A "producer" is not a kid in his room who makes (bad) dubstep. GAH! As far as I am concerned, all these people should be ashamed of themselves for tarnishing the noble art of making music. /rant off RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 12-10-2012 I was about to post my new script when I got this error message after hitting the New Script button. Later I tried to open a new feedback thread regarding this weird issue and once again I got the same error... weird board error message Wrote:Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'DateTime::__construct() [<a href='datetime.--construct'>datetime.--construct</a>]: Failed to parse time string (2010-22-12) at position 6 (2): Unexpected character' in /mounted-storage/home145/sub044/sc79307-DENK/save-point.org/inc/plugins/prefixage.php:177 Stack trace: #0 /mounted-storage/home145/sub044/sc79307-DENK/save-point.org/inc/plugins/prefixage.php(177): DateTime->__construct('2010-22-12') #1 /mounted-storage/home145/sub044/sc79307-DENK/save-point.org/inc/plugins/prefixage.php(268): prefixage_get_years_difference('12', '22', '2010') #2 /mounted-storage/home145/sub044/sc79307-DENK/save-point.org/inc/class_plugins.php(101): prefixage_prevent_post('') #3 /mounted-storage/home145/sub044/sc79307-DENK/save-point.org/newthread.php(978): pluginSystem->run_hooks('newthread_end') #4 {main} thrown in /mounted-storage/home145/sub044/sc79307-DENK/save-point.org/inc/plugins/prefixage.php on line 177 RE: What's on your mind? - Kain Nobel - 12-10-2012 So my sister-in-law's mom let some guy rent a room, not realizing that the dude is a whackjob. Anyways, they got into a fight and he called the cops on her, telling them she was assaulting him. The police told her to get out of her own house, I didn't overhear the whole story but I think she was even arrested. Anyways, now she has to get an eviction notice on the guy and isn't allowed on her own property until he is legally out of that house. She plans on going to court and letting them know that the guy showed porn to her kid (which btw he really did.) I just can't believe a renter can legally kick a home owner out of their own house, especially with her being a disabled woman. |
