Good news and bad news. My bad back isn't an evil debilitating problem with my spine. Yeeaaarch. It's my back muscles.... ow.. ow... ow... I musta seriously pulled something so. Ugh, I hate medications.

Okay, Kasper.... I got the Aleve.

It's always importand to compare the price of something if possible, that's something I know.
And just now, I was reminded again WHY. XD

After watching a video of someone I follow playing The Sims™ Medieval for the first time I was reminded that I really wanted to check that game out at some point and glanced at the current Steam Price of 49,99€ which was a No-Go for me. Then, remembering that the person mentioned he'd just gotten it from Origin and remembering that it's probably on sale there as well I logged in in that as well. Noticing that a dicountsale was going on seemed promising and after a quick serach I found the game.
And was stunned into silence at the price.
Thus I just bought not only the normal version, but one with some items from the Limited Version AND an Add-on for the game for (all together) 5,99€.
I didn't want to buy anything out of order this month, really, and was just curious about the price but...come on, someone tell me that this was not a much better deal XD
Even/Especially should it turn out I don't like the game/my PC can't handle it.

Justo to make this clear: I'm not saying one is better then the other, just that it really can pay off to check more then one place XD

Sometimes I wonder how old I really look.
About three weels ago or so, some kids at work guessed I'd be about 42. Today, while buying a FSK 16 DVD (which you have to be at least 16 for, we don't have letter-ratings so I felt I had to explain this XD) I was asked to show my identity card, so to the person behind the counter I aparently looked arround that age or less.
For some reason, this amuses me XD

why would the empire bother attacking the rebel base on hoth? luke, han, and the princess are all there at the same time, why not lay siege? if i was some low rank xwing pilot slowly starving to death on a planet with no growing season, i'd be thinking about mutiny real quick. i'd go start my own rebellion... on a tropical island planet...

Just finished the Mass Effect trilogy. The ending was... a shock. It seems that no matter what you do you can't have a happy ending and after all the build up that's a massive disappointment for me. I was hoping for the end to follow the trend of the whole series - impossible odds are overcome if you try hard enough and believe in yourself and your friends.
Warning plot spoiler

I bloody loved this trilogy, it was fantastic, momentous, but the ending has left me with a sour taste in my mouth and bitter feelings of regret.

I remember there beeing a lot of talk about the ending of Mass Effect 3. Never played these games, so I don't know what it's about nor what exactly was going on, but I do remember the talking about it. Just recently I saw a video - either by Spoony or the Yogscast, I think - where this was mentioned and explained to a degree, so that even I got a hint of things.

Honestly, simply because of this reason I would like to give it a go and see the story for myself. Unfortunately, the games fall into a category that I do not care much about and thus don't play.

Also on a gaming note: I still want to get into D&D, but aparently it's next to imposible to get some "rulebooks" anywhere arround here. I rembered there was an online version and went to find that, but somehow I could not locate it. And no, I don't mean the 3D rendered one.
For some reason to an other, this reminded me that I haven't played AdventureQuest since some time in 2008 so I seached for that instead. Interestingly enough my Account still existed, but my characters no longer exist. So I decided to give it a go again.
It's really interesting how I kinda totally knew what I was dooing and yet at the same time not knowing what to do at all XD
