I'd put the epitome of mortal ends above evil dark magicians any day. Also, he's fought several dark magicians, and even demons.

Kristovski makes a good point. Has anyone analyzed their ability to heal themselves? Link can carry fairies that automatically regenerate his health. While I'm sure Simon has things as well, I doubt they could compare to Link.
