RE: Yesteryear - BeJeremiah - 05-24-2017 Your story and sprinting is very well composed. Has a nice flow. I look forward to the music and the battle system if any. I cant even imagine what kind of battles would occur in the world you have shown so far. I cant even imagine what kind of battles would occur in the world you have shown so far. we have 0 composers yet for music ...and the battlesystem has not been made quite yet! BUT we have very big plans for Yesteryear! please keep an eye out for our next released update! RE: Yesteryear - BeJeremiah - 05-24-2017 I am curious, are those the foot prints from inventor's creations (i forget her name im sorry) on you logo? They don't look random. Ahh, you are close on some level there and very observant :) I'll let Siletrea decide how to answer that ^_~ RE: Yesteryear - Siletrea - 05-24-2017 (05-24-2017, 02:35 AM)LunarBerry Wrote:(05-24-2017, 02:31 AM)BeJeremiah Wrote: I am curious, are those the foot prints from inventor's creations (i forget her name im sorry) on you logo? Lunarberry is right you have a very keen eye! but no unfourtunatly they are not footprints! kudo's for trying! keep looking/theorizing throughout Yesteryear's development and you may find out what the symbols are! RE: Yesteryear - MetalRenard - 07-30-2017 If you're looking for some temporary music, I have some you could use until you find a composer. What genre are you looking for? Orchestral? Rock? Electronica? Something else? This would be non-commercial use, as in, as soon as you want to start making money from it, you would need to replace the tracks I let you use (or pay for them, whatever). This is purely meant to give you guys a hand in keeping the game going. RE: Yesteryear - TsunamiJurai - 07-30-2017 Looks fun so far, but i don't think i can help after looking at those requirements. RPG Maker was given to me by my dad...Don't think it is legal. Who knows had it for a long while. The only thing I could do is advertising I guess. I have a website http://untold.magientertainment.com and Im sure my friend wouldn't mind If I made a small page for yall. Thanks, we appreciate the thought, but we actually do have a fair amount of resources for music to use as holders and even some that are kept for the official game. So holders or temporary stuff like that, whether music or graphics, are pretty much covered. We just need materials that are made specific for the project and be allowed to use them commercially. So even if someone doesn't want to be a full time project member, anyone is welcomed to donate some time to create a custom resource for the game. So say for example in the case of music, they would work out the details with Siletrea on the type of genre and it can be for just one piece of music. When the custom material is used, the artist/etc. will be given credit in the game. Same thing with graphics, it can be a single sprite sheet or even an object that'll fit with the game's style/needs. Those who make major contributions to the game will earn, not only credit for their works, but also a free copy of the full commercial game. Those who contribute some things, even if it's a single thing, will get credit for it and that in itself is getting your name out and advertisement. :) Permanent project members, full or part time, will get all the above but will have more influence in the game (might even have an NPC of them in there somewhere ^_~) But like the requirements mention, before we ask any work be done from anyone, we would need to look over some of the current works of the contributor to get an idea if it fits the style of this project. This way, we won't waste anyone's time on creating something and then it not be used in the full commercial game or even the demo. It would make us feel really bad and sad :( We don't like to waste things. Who knows had it for a long while. Thank you :) Please feel free to promote/advertise the game/project, whether it's through social media or your own site. We welcome this from anyone. All we ask is to be sure to mention who the game's by and link this thread (since we are using this thread as an official update from us, aside from our own sites). Otherwise, specifying Siletrea's requirement on an advertiser, what we are looking for essentially is a PR (public representative) with skills in video production and promotional advertising. But again, the work is voluntary (like me, I'm doing most of the graphics, scene designs, etc. so far, on a volunteer basis), but we do compensate with a free copy of the commercial game and/or crediting folks in the game. (or as mentioned, create/incorporate NPCs that either represent the artist or maybe even a character they wish to promote in the game). RE: Yesteryear - TsunamiJurai - 07-31-2017 I could make some type of game trailer by recording a few shots from game and introducing the characters? RE: Yesteryear - MetalRenard - 07-31-2017 Cool, I'm glad you have that much stuff already sorted. I'm at the stage where I can't really justify becoming a full member of a project due to time commitments of being an adult (boo-hoo) but here are a few of my songs. Let me know if you want a piece (say, a main theme or something, as I love telling a story in my music).
