KyoDiscounts VX has reached version 1.2.0 already! That means it has all the features available in the XP version! That means you can either purchase stuff with coupons or discount cards or place orders and later on pick them up at will or once they're finally available at the store... Even if my feet might get a bit wet in the next few days I've still managed to bring you another version of my KyoDiscounts XP script, it has reached version 1.3.1 already! It now offers a way to "invest" in any specific store to get some benefits from buying its shares like getting extra discounts or extra items to be bought or extra items that might be placed to pick up later on. I know it's a weird feature, but I think it's not so common, and even if it was I wouldn't take it out at this point, mainly because I think it can be quite useful at some point. It was the time for KyoDiscounts VX to get an update so it has reached version 1.3.0 today! It includes pretty much all stuff found in the XP version. That actually means that you can now invest some gold in VX store shares as well! OK, OK, it's obvious that your heroes wouldn't do that out of mere compassion, of course, but I don't think they would complain about it if the player carefully analyzes the situation... Well, as you may have figured out already, I've already posted my KyoDiscounts ACE script on the board! So far it allows you to either place and pickup orders or purchase stuff with a discount depending on what discount card or coupon you pick before purchase. That's right, folks! I've come back with another update! This time KyoDiscounts MV has reached version 1.2.0! It has the same features as KyoDiscounts ACE so I won't repeat myself here. Just keep in mind you can configure the values found in KYOSHOP constant like CARDS or COUPONS by adding or removing as many card or coupon ID's as you wish, people! Yeah, people! This is me here telling you that I've recently updated all of my KyoDiscounts scripts. Now all of them allow you to include exclusive cards (an old feature) AND store exclusive coupons as well! In my MV plugin I also had to include some minor features needed to avoid a bug whenever the player visited a store that was not supposed to offer the option of placing orders there. As far as I can remember this is the only script or plugin available for all versions of the maker that include the script / plugin feature. (Gem Roulette is not available for MV.) After months or even years of neglecting KyoDiscounts, I have updated the XP and VX versions, they have reached the 1.4.0 milestone already! And guess what kind of feature they sport this time... Scarcity! Now you can setup how scarce are all shop items at any given time or reverse it by setting it to zero if necessary. So far both price and maximum number of items are configurable. The top scarcity level depends upon your very own laziness! Even Kustom XP's version got updated this time! By the way, wulfo, I have uploaded the scripts to Box.com as well. It's not that I like that website at all, but we never know if any other download link might come temporarily unavailable for any unforeseen reason. That's completely true, guys! I couldn't fall asleep without updating VX and VX Ace versions. It didn't take long to implement it and there's still room for improvement like adding more ways to affect the player somehow... To be honest this update is partially inspired by some rather noisy forumer from some "unknown" South American country that has a name I no longer can recall. His game had to implement some sort of method to make it harder to find specific shop items at some given time. I didn't like the idea at all because I had to become creative, but you know me very well... I'm a lazy shark after all, guys!! Even so I ended up posting these series of updates, still, I gotta admit it doesn't work exactly the way he had once proposed... So what's next? Happy game testing!? RE: KyoDiscounts XP VX, ACE MV - Nyakuya - 01-12-2019 Since i can't pm you in any way possible, i decided to post my test in here. I read the instructions and i set 3 items on the store. Then i used: KyoShopOrders << [20, 30, 5] KyoShopOrders.steps = [4, 10, 30] KyoShop.scarcity_lvl = 0 And i can't buy the items. When i press C over one, i get the quantity and total value window, but pressing C again does nothing, therefore i can't complete the buy. (Also, as an extra, try entering to that window and then press Cancel. The item, quantity selected, and Total value will remain visible, and if you press C again (you'll enter on the "Buy" tab again), and you will still see the item, quantity selected and Total value, but now you will also see the list of items available for buy). Any further attempt on "stacking" this glitch, will result in an override of the last displayed item. (I can't post an image... Wish i could). That's what I get for implementing stages in an old script. In version 1.5.0 I will need to make it easier to implement any new stages or options like item appraisal. |
