RE: What's on your mind? - DerVVulfman - 02-16-2014 Hey, Kirot. Try a small 'campfire' particle effect WITH dynamic lighting. Really looks good. RE: What's on your mind? - tnsi - 02-17-2014 Any examples of that? Interests me somewhat- although the campfires in bitadventurer will be sprites/pixels, rather than a particle system. RE: What's on your mind? - Ahzoh - 02-17-2014 I'm sad ='( Having learned that I have been doing my triconsonantal root language completely wrong, I have been reccomended to read this book: Lipinski: Semitic Languages: Outline of a Comparative Grammar RE: What's on your mind? - Ahzoh - 02-19-2014 In case you wanted to know what Arkhean sounds like, here's a sound recording of me saying it: https://app.box.com/s/klb3k76raljx720maqhs and here's the text in Polish spelling: "Noći Paźa kteńo iz Helyka, do-savikia kea imiot, kea Vajkomśar ptaća, kea viśu takadu dźno, daś Zchamu vik zos iz Helyka. Davia savit źiar-ze noćij zeina chapot. Pśenkja savit noći seńa, vik ja pśenka źieca kte seńa paktiv savit. Vetńa ned savit rińu sovicja, na nićkoja savit tajku sokini. Dla Vajkomśar, kedi i slava, avarke kira, seića i nazvake. Aiz Takadi." and the English: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen. RE: What's on your mind? - KasperKalamity - 03-16-2014 don't let fat girls drive you to bars, theyll just ditch you when they find friends that pay more attention to them. i get it that your friends don't like my friends, but don't drive my ass domewhere as an innocent bystander, and then not drive me back. fuck you, you fat, asteroid attracting CeeUNextTuesday. RE: What's on your mind? - yamina-chan - 03-16-2014 @Kasper: Can I say that I don't apporve of the way you wrote this? I can see that you are frustrated with a person you know, and I understand that - when frustrated and angry - people say things they don't mean that way. Which is why I won't be offended about how you generalize things in said post. So I am simply asking you, when you have calmed down, to maybe make use of the Edit Button. Thanks =) (This is not supposed to be Back Seat Moderating, but I do feel the need to say this =b) On my mind: I really hope that YouTube will be able to fix whatever problem they seem to be having since last Friday or so. And I hope they do it soon. It is frustrating many people and quite a handicap tho all who earn their living - or part of it - with YouTube. It is also unfortunate if you are feeling depressed, want to watch something that will chear you up and then end up even more depressed because you can not. =/ RE: What's on your mind? - KasperKalamity - 03-17-2014 if i sought/lived for the approval of others, i wouldn't be me, [redacted] It's not about approval, it's about respect. Here at Save-Point we expect people to respect each other. You are obviously offending someone and yet continue to say these kinds of things. This needs to stop.Thank you. -MetalRenard RE: What's on your mind? - DerVVulfman - 03-27-2014 I still have no cell phone. No chance to get buzzed by the job when I'm out. RE: What's on your mind? - Pherione - 03-27-2014 I wonder if I could somehow stick 2 sim-cards in my smartphone for price optimization... (one for internet, one for mobile calls) Now I have to carry a cell phone, a smartphone and an mp3... my pockets are bulgy. >.< On the other hand, I get to call internationally without roaming or that shit. No complaints here :p RE: What's on your mind? - Ahzoh - 03-28-2014 I continually work on my language and now I have many verb forms! Today I show a distinction in verb frms between active and passive voice. If you remember what I said about Subject (S), and Object (O), then I should also tell you about Agent (A) and Patient (P), which are similar in meaning, Agent is the actor of the verb, patient is receiver of the verb. Difference is in active sentences S=A, O=P, but in passive sentences S=P, with showing A being optional. Compare active "The dog bit the postman" and passive "The postman was bitten (by the dog)" So yea, I made distinct forms for active and passive depending on tense: the root kh-v-n "die" plus suffix -i turns "die" into "cause (someone) to die" or "kill" Active: nokhvoni - killed khēvoni - kill/killing ʾakhveni - will kill Passive: nūkhvūni - was killed khūvani - am/are/is killed ʾīkhvīni - will be killed examples: Passive: HY NḴVNY ʾN ǦDKL. Hē nūḵvūnī ʾīn ǧdakal. 3ms-subject die-passive-present-singular-causitive by golem-object-plural He was killed by the golems. Active: ǦDKL HYM NḴVNŠ. Ǧdakal hēyam noḵvoneš. Golem-plural 3ms-object die-active-present-plural-causitive The golems killed him. |
