RE: What's up, RMers? - Remi-chan - 12-10-2023 And the Submenu UI for pamphlets is complete. And so I have this VERY LONGBOI strip of every pamphlet that will be in the game! This image is over 15000 pixels wide. But since that will be near impossible for you to look at in a good way, I made an image which grids them for easy viewing. But, that isn't all I've done! Last night I went and began on implementing the quest log. I got all the entries up to the end of Disk 0 done! My next step will be implementing them in game so I can ensure I've formatted things correctly and make tweaks as necessary.. RE: What's up, RMers? - Steel Beast 6Beets - 12-13-2023 (12-07-2023, 06:39 PM)KasperKalamity Wrote: loving this so far! im planning on adding some scarecrows, a barn, and maybe a windmill. At the top we have a fruit stand and chicken coop in a fenced in field with some crops. Then a silo with some more fields off to the side with haystacks. a farmhouse with flowers all around leading down to where the barn and pasture will go. this is really taking me back to 2005 when i had a pirated rmxp and used to stay up all night throwing feces at the keyboard. Ha, I recognize those "lettuce"-looking trees in the farm map. RE: What's up, RMers? - KasperKalamity - 12-13-2023 pulling them over from my xp tileset was a breeze. mv is a lot more intuitive so far. it'd be nice to get more mapping layers but i'll take it. Here's day 10 on that map RE: What's up, RMers? - Steel Beast 6Beets - 12-15-2023 Amazing work. just one question: are you using a plugin? The last time I checked, max map size in MV was about 256x256 and your map looks much bigger than that. RE: What's up, RMers? - kyonides - 12-15-2023 I've been thinking about making script that would allow you to buy items in battle. Your parcel would be delivered after n turns depending on the value of a preset game variable, unless your team dies, of course. I've entitled it KBattlerEats. RE: What's up, RMers? - Remi-chan - 12-16-2023 Welcome back to fuckin... Remi's ted talks! Today, we are quite procrastinating on the continuation of the menu upgrades because burn out, but don't worry! I still managed to get some VERY COOL updates done. So, if you've played Fantasia, you might know what you used to get quests in the form of items which would give you a basic idea of your next objective. Well, i decided that such a method sucked. So I introduce you to the quest log! Now in its own tab of the updated menu alongside the optional event database under MISSIONS, this serves as a far more practical and informative solution to a very dated system. Built utilizing Yanfly's quest journal plugin, I can write every quest to my own needs and desires! There have been other things done but all pretty small system-side things that generally aren't very exciting, so I'll levae that be~! RE: What's up, RMers? - kyonides - 12-19-2023 Well, there's a winter sale on Komodo Plaza, and also another one on Steam IIRC. I'm telling you just in case you didn't notice it because the official RM forums haven't made the usual announcement as of yet. You can grab both the engines and the DLC's for a small amount. Fine, the DLC's are slightly cheaper than usual, but you know how that works by now. RE: What's up, RMers? - AVGB-KBGaming - 12-19-2023 I'm still waiting on my spending stipend to go and get more money on Steam so I can grab a few assets. But, for now, I'm pretty content(-ious). lolz I started mapping out some areas in my current game project. All are WIP of course, and there's nothing set in stone yet; Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodiil is more likely to be in a finished state before I have a pre-release alpha. RE: What's up, RMers? - Remi-chan - 12-24-2023 Been having a bit of burn out but decided I'd at least get the basic blueprint ready for tutorials tonight. So there's that. 54 tutorials in total. I will do the scrollbar once all of the tutorials have been finalized. RE: What's up, RMers? - Steel Beast 6Beets - 01-06-2024 Quick question: does RMXP have compatibility issues with Windows 8.1? |
