RE: What's on your mind? - guarionex - 07-27-2015 You can install Start8 and the start menu will be just like Win 7. Also Win 8.1 is better for gaming due to directx. As far as SSD goes they are way more reliable than before. Just put the OS on it with the apps you use the most and use the HHD for storage (videos, music, downloads,...) you'll notice a ridiculous improvement. other than that after spending 6 hours on the ren faire I believe is time for a nap RE: What's on your mind? - guarionex - 07-28-2015 So today my little beastly pc decided to misbehaved. It was blocking the internet traffic like if humanity depended on it. After spending hours reloading drivers and verifying firewall settings I found that the Bitdefender's firewall was causing all the problems. This ruined all my pixel plans of the day, I demand a beer. RE: What's on your mind? - DerVVulfman - 07-28-2015 RE: What's on your mind? - Kirito - 07-28-2015 mmm, hamburgers RE: What's on your mind? - MetalRenard - 07-28-2015 Root beer and hamburgers. Deep thoughts. n_n Hmm now I want steak for lunch. RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 07-28-2015 (07-28-2015, 03:41 AM)DerVVulfman Wrote: Well, I wouldn't consider root beer a beer after all... Where did the headaches go? RE: What's on your mind? - Kain Nobel - 07-29-2015 Just got out of the hospital. No, I wasn't doing alright, and yes, I'm fine now (I think). I'm not going to go into detail about it, let's just say I had a close brush with death and am still recovering. At least I'm home now, taking it easy. Currently playing Megaman 9. Oh man, I don't care how much the game hates me, I really love this one! Very challenging, the level design and bosses are unforgiving (and I probably suck at the moment, but that's another story.) RE: What's on your mind? - MetalRenard - 07-29-2015 I'm glad you're safe and home. Take care and get well soon buddy. RE: What's on your mind? - DerVVulfman - 07-30-2015 Oh, DAMN. Please take care, bro. RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 07-30-2015 I was checking out this website about hydraulic fracturing http://www.dangersoffracking.com/ and one of the calculations made me seriously think about gas wells. Dangers of Fracking Wrote:500,000 Active gas wells in the US And there are people expecting to watch or learn about wars to be started by the lack of water in other regions of this shrinking planet... |
