Impressive true. But is there a version that also runs on Linux? Kyo's HiddenChest is being developed for both Windows and Linux users.

An update to my desert quest line. Added a broken giant mecha to the war-torn city to help give the player more scale.
The artillery battery and rooftop guns are also my design, though I just repurposed the RTP ship cannon for regular cannons  Laughing

I think you need to rework the Mech and its thick line-art. Otherwise, it just looks like a graphic scaled up in size and clashes artistically with the rest of the environment.

Oh good point! OK, I'll extend the colored areas!

Done! It does indeed look better!

Laughing Unfortunately, the design's not mine (I don't actually know who made them). Got it back in 2005 and only now am I using the standard-sized sprite. Decided I'd upscale some to add detail to my desert maps.

Making a new mecha sprite from scratch and in two sizes is a bit too much given my schedule  Happy with a sweat I'm glad I didn't need to animate the long tom battery, either! Smoke sprite was enough.  Very happy + Tongue sticking out

I'm within striking distance of finishing the desert town with the broken mecha!  Laughing It's the third hub town out of five hubs total. This quest line has taken longer than anticipated as it's the longest quest line I've ever made. Started working on this back in April and here we are in September and I am only at the 70% mark. I still have four more areas to work on (I estimate using a total of 15 or so maps) before I can get to the end of the desert biome and move on to the next theme.

There's still a giant mecha boss to make an upscaled sprite for. That marks the end of work on the current town. Might take me all weekend to finish.  Happy with a sweat
