RE: What's up, RMers? - DerVVulfman - 11-04-2026 I neglected to say... NO NEED! The author of most of the XRXS library of scripts included it within another of her scripts. Or should I say a few of them. Well, I have been busy today and worked on Battle scripts related primarily to graphic systems. However, most of the day was on one system that the author made two separate and lightly altered versions. So yeah, one script I had to translate into English... TWICE. The script was kind of entertaining... It changed the battler depending on if it was attacking someone, was idle, was guarding or casting a spell. It didn't animate in any way, so the battlers are still static. But it was interesting and kind of refreshing to see different takes on how to implement pose changes in a battle system. Certainly key areas where the code existed in the XRXS system was at the same points in AnimBat and others, I can safely say. I was going to go down the line and work on the next script in the Battle Parts list, but the Full-View/Camera script apparently has some connection to the Battle Layout scripts just further down... so I tackled all THREE of those in a couple of hours. I kinda like how the HP numbers in the third one counted down from the hero's HP to what it became after being hurt. It didn't just "Change" to the lower value in a single frame. So tomorrow is the "THREAD" for Full-View and Camera which........ ugh..... Remember how I said the first one had the same feature written twice with some subtle changes? Well, it turns out that the legendary and known XRXS Camera script come in THREE FLAVORS! Yeah, Its no wonder some people thought one version wasn't real while another appeared. RE: What's up, RMers? - DerVVulfman - 11-05-2026 OMG.... yeah, I kinda got on a roll today. But first, let me remind ya that yesterday's two Battler effecting scripts were nearly identical. Today? Nearly isn't the word for it. The first two scripts WERE Identical other than a couple values in the configuration section and two 'hardcoded' values that might as well BE in the configuration section. So for giggles, I posted an additional edit that did exactly that and let you set actual zoom in zoom/out factors. Three scripts for the Battleback and one slight update by me making four. But after that, I tackled FIVE more XRXS script pages, one with a required add-on. Indeed, I worked on a lot and uploaded ten scripts not counting the original Japanese versions that accompany the them in the posts. ![]() ...If I drank beer. ![]() But first, that Full-View and Camera script? THREE separate scripts. And like yesterday's ridiculousness with the battler scripts being nearly identical, so too were |
