Don't worry. I had a phone call saying my Windows was set to expire and lock up my system. Um... right.
MEANWHILE, my dad kept me up till 4am yesterday because Dementia tells people that they don't need to eat anymore. Unfortunately, that meant his stomach was in agony and I had to get him to eat... And he was adamant not to.
TODAY, so far, much better. He even had a little ravioli. But not much. Still....
And... I am not sure how the patients in the hospital waiting room felt when I showed up AGAIN because of lack of communication. Not getting weekly updates, Referrals that do not work, nor accept customer phone calls, assistants and doctors who do not get updates from the desk clerks, and I'm still waiting for a nursing service to call since yesterday mid-day.

Dad woke up and ate leftover ravioli and drank his juice before I woke up!!! I got hungry before HE did! He ate a whole bowl of thick Campbell's Chunky Soup! And some apple pie! AND some extra protein Chocolate milk! And he's quiet! And a nurse is going to be showing up tomorrow... FINALLY!

Huh. Right now I'm trying to focus on tomorrow. It's going to be a small Street Fighter V tournament here. One of my fellows signed me up for the competition without my knowledge, got me here today, brought me tickets and we had a real talk about it.
I don't play this game since last year, more exactly October 29th after my best friend passed away. He used to be the "fighting game guy", crazy fan of Ryu and King of Fighters' Ryo. I couldn't bring myself to play for a long time, even tho I was kinda high ranks and really into the FGC. I uninstalled the game from my PS4 so I wouldn't look at that icon. My friend got me by surprise and told me the reasons why I should go back and play. It doesn't help the champion is going to get some cash, which I could use right now.
Got myself reinstalling the game few hours ago and trying some crazy combos. My surprise is, yeah I still got it. But there are three new characters which came by last tuesday and I don't know the match up. I just hope tomorrow I can find strenght and at least give my best. Would help if someone don't kick my ass too hard.
Regardless, I'm going for it. Wish me luck guys

So far this week....
This Monday, my father's doctor gave me a referral to a Hospice. This so a nurse can come down and check on my father and give the Doctor information on a regular basis. Calling the Hospice, they said that they do not send nurses at all.
This Tuesday, I returned to the Hospital and told the lady at the desk that the referral was no good. They issued another referral, and wanted me to call them to set up a nursing schedule. The agency said they cannot accept patient phone calls and it must be from the Doctor.
I returned to the Hospital immediately which gave them a surprise. They said that they'd tell the Doctor and get it done. It wasn't until later that night that the Doctor's assistant called me to ask how the Hospice responded. Neither she nor the doctor was aware of my return visits that day, of the Hospice's responce, nor of the second referral's requirement of his authorization.
This Wednesday I returned to see how things were going, though I was not in the best of mood. The people at the desk could not respond when I said that the Doctor had no knowledge of the return visits, but gave me a copy of the paperwork saying the second referral was called. They said I had to wait for them to contact me for scheduling.
This Thursday, the Nurse referral told me that a nurse would call tomorrow for scheduling. They have to call a day BEFORE they come out. Again, this is to have a nurse look at my 92 year old Father with Dementia and give information to the Doctor.
This Friday, the nurse finally called... at 9pm. The appointment was set for 10-11am. She was made aware of my father's condition.
NOW... Saturday has arrived, the nurse has arrived, and she did ... nothing. No care at all, and instead said that he needs hospice nurses to come out for him... end of life care as she called it. And who did she recommend? The first Hospice. I told her that I had contacted them and of their response. So much and gave me a number to call to get other services, and said she'd call me Monday to see how things were doing.
The offices were closed. The doctor's office so I could complain about the referral was closed.
So far, the only good news I had was that dad has started eating... if somewhat picky...

Got a little lost in the way, me and my bud found the fighting game tournament we were suppose to go.
After a very tiresome day got into the grand final, won and dedicated my victory in the name of my fallen friend. The after party was also nice. It was a small event, but to me, it was a great victory.

Right now I'm thinking about going back to competitive games once again. Got to meet a lot of good people and great players in the way. That's, to me, it's one hell of achievement.
But for now, time to go back to my RMXP project and make a storyboard for my next animation~

For the past couple of days, my dad has been refusing to eat. It's murder trying to get him to eat. And while he complains about pain in his stomach and his hunger, he refuses to eat anything except to drink water. Won't even drink protein fortified milk or that V8 fusion which has a full servings of fruits n veggies, claiming he 'cannot swallow'.... until he decides he can drink water.
And he just asked me yesterday if I think he should retire from the postal service.
My dad retired from the USPS well over 30 years ago.WELL, I may have some good news. Last night, I had a phone call from a nursing agency that DOES deal with home care that my father needs. And today at 4pm, a Liason Nurse (contact between the nursing agency and my dad's doctor) came by and offered a lot more hope! Hell, even recommended some medication that could INCREASE HIS APPETITE SO HE'LL EAT AGAIN!!!

Now Costa Rican diplomatics are supposed to be so poor that they need a congresswoman alias "mys politikon" to propose a project that would make Costa Rican citizens purchase suits and related stuff in case the diplomatics need to stay in countries like US or Germany or Russia... =_= Now their salaries that might start at US$4000 (the top salary is unknown) are not good enough for those poor people that represent our country abroad...

Well... a followup nurse, the one that's the regularly scheduled 'Registered Nurse' informed me that the medication to increase my dad's appetite .... it's too late for that.. She feels that all I can do is to keep him as comfortable as possible and give him whatever he wants. I try to convince him to eat, but that's all I can do. Insofar as his sleeping schedule, she says she can bring up some sleep medication for him to take at night, but it's contingent on him taking the medication. He's in a period where getting him to take medication is difficult.

Well, tonight was the last night the analogical TV broadcast was available in the Costa Rican Central Valley and some other regions. It might take another year to do the same in the rest of my country. It's not that we desperately needed it. About two thirds of the population actually enjoy cable or satellite TV services nowadays, especially if they wanna watch soccer matches since Tigo Sports purchased the broadcasting rights of half of all of the First Division of Costa Rican Football. =_= That's just quite nasty, don't you agree? Rarely they allow anybody to watch them for free on a free and public TV channel but not when two of the most popular teams are face to face, fighting for three points they might earn if any of them ever wins that specific match... Yeah that sucks, but I don't really care because I'm not a real soccer fan anyways.

There is a very disturbing thread where a woman talks to many (including Rafael). They each continue the conversations, tag-teaming out as if they were the previous ambassador, confusing the poster more and more.

Click the link and follow from the beginning. It's... REALLY weird.
But there's something strange about this woman's account as well. The account that talked to the paid ambassadors... seems to be a political shill on the opposite side of Amazon. "Her" account was made 6 months ago, and seems to only share certain views-- all Socialist views. The things they post and share are strange to say the least. Random conspiracy theories, Bernie posts, very NSFW things that use keywords... So to see them talking to paid corporate shills in a thread, I wonder if they're any better when they share propaganda of their own as well?
Amazon is paying people to fix their image on Twitter, one doubter at a time. Of that, there is no argument. But the "ambassador" of this strange anti-Amazon bot accusation thread seems to be a shill of her own. Is she possibly paid herself? And why is this suddenly viral, shared by Bernie and Bernie activists with anti-Amazon articles at the ready within a few hours?
Who knows? All I know is the entire thread stinks of a set-up conspiracy! Conspiracy I say!
