NEVER throw away old software. :D I still have Windows Software going back to --- *GASP* ... Windows 3.1 !!!

Would probably run like the Flash on Crack on a new processor.

I ditched Windows XP when I tried to install it on a PC with a x64 processor (or more, I can't recall now) and I don't regret it. Of course, Vista sucks, I then got 7 and it was decent... till I noticed users got screwed up every so often and found information on it online. That made me switch to 8.1 but I had already tried Kubuntu, OpenSUSE, Debian and even Arch Linux, so far I've preferred Kubuntu which remains on two machines! Just in case, I also included Fedora 31 by installing it on another partition thanks to the need to let more Linux users get their hands on HiddenChest.

Little question, did you try using Windows XP Home, Professional, or x64 edition before you ditched it?

I think the oldest two Windows Operating Systems I have is Windows 98 Second edition and Windows XP Home Edition. Sadly, I can't use the Windows 98 CD because it's for upgrading to that OS.

I had XP Home and Pro, one gotta have been 32 bit and the other 64 bit, one belonged to a sibling that had ditched it some time before I ended up doing the same. Plus I wanted to take a look at the "flashy" interface newer versions offered... and I was working as a contractor for a company that already used Vista (still nicknamed Long Horn)...

Even so I keep saying Linux is trustworthy even after power failures caused by external conditions like thunderbolts, blackouts, etc.

WOOF!!!! DONE FOR NOW!

I had to acquire appraisals on everything my dad had so I could send it in to deal with his entire Estate. For those not familiar, he died a few months ago. It took some time, some being worked on from early Noveber and literally took till yesterday to total and send to me. Talk about timing! I had to send it in TODAY! DONE!

I still need to transfer the title of his old 1990's pick-up truck. and other stuff. Dang thing runs fine!

Wow... I need to stop staying up very late nights. I got may days and nights mixed up.

Hmmm... Maybe I could get my days and nights to be back to normal if I could force myself to stay awake after 10:30 A.M. Yeah. I think I can do that, with a little help of Gaming... and maybe some food with a soda or something.

Sounds like the Final Fantasy 7 Remake is being delayed until April 10th. Kitase is out there like "so sorry" but I'm actually surprised anything at all is scheduled for release and don't see why he's being all apologetic. I'm sure, for economic reasons, they need to rush this thing out so everybody can get paid. Hopefully they have a successful roll out and the first episode is great, but Square Enix has been having it rough with the FF series in general.

I think their advertisement in the United States with this game is weaker than weak. If they've employed and deployed an entire team of advertising and SEO ninjas, I certainly can't tell. So they've released the longest ad in Japanese history? I'm not sure how that is supposed to pay the bills but to each their own I suppose.

Better delayed to bring polish rather than to rush it out as an unplayable and glitchy mess. At least that's what I think anyway.

"Nope, it wasn't me!" said the bat. Laughing + Tongue sticking out

"Hey! Stop looking at me!" yelled the snake before adding "You've got no decisive proofs pointing at me as the sole culprit!". Laughing
