RE: What's on your mind? - KDC - 08-12-2020 (08-12-2020, 08:37 AM)kyonides Wrote:(08-12-2020, 07:42 AM)KDC Wrote: I decided to mess around with my Steam Link again, but this time by way of streaming. I might just stream the entire desktop, with my controller as the mouse, because the wireless Keyboard's touch pad is a bit finicky with Windows 10 this time around. That's not the only quirk I found. At least software side. Now I'm thinking of actually doing something else with it. Making it a PC monitor, as it has a monitor port, as well as what it is. A TV. That can easily be done, depending if the video card has a HDMI port on the back, or if I have a spare monitor cable. Yeah. I'll try that. I don't mind experimenting a bit with my stuff. In all honesty, I just felt like rearranging stuff. RE: What's on your mind? - KDC - 08-12-2020 Well, it worked. Also, since I don't want to turn my head only, I managed to put in a Wireless Keyboard and Mouse plugged in for staring into a TV screen, instead of my Monitor. Also I made my TV screen the primary Monitor. My Television, despite its small size, can go up to a 1080p resolution. I still have the normal keyboard and mouse I use plugged in, so that I can use it when looking at my Monitor. And I still have 2 USB ports in the front still able to be used for a headset and a controller. Oh neat. Because I plugged the HDMI from the PC to the HDMI Splitter, by switching HDMI ports from the splitter, the PC claims that the HDMI Port is unplugged, and (possibly temporarily) sets my PC monitor as the main screen, as well as bring things back to what I had it before plugging it in. Neat that that actually happened, as I wasn't expecting that outcome. RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 08-15-2020 This is how some Russians or foreigners picture Vladimir Putin as of late... Really, don't come this way!
We don't need your help nor your bear fleas!
RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 08-25-2020 Yeah, guys, there a quake hit the Pacific coast of Costa Rica about 8 hours ago. This 6.2 magnitude shake was serious indeed! Even my monitor was fearing it would drop it to the floor in no time! I'm not even sure if it lasted like half a minute or even a whole minute. Melana would run away if she ever experienced something like that in Germany. Oh but that wasn't all, folks! It was raining and we've got too many cases of Covid-19 around. So where could we go then? RE: What's on your mind? - DerVVulfman - 09-24-2020 Hrm... Well, I'm taking a little break from coding to do a little bit of spritework on behalf of the forum. Yeah, surprise... The resident werewolf is doing some doodling. BUT.. the forum staff was sent an eMail by a member whom requested that his account be removed. The member did not really post anything and had not been here since 2013. Still, it is sad, and the request was honored. We don't even delete spammers so we can have their IP addresses for legal notifications! Oh, and of spammers, I've just received ye frightful (or frightfully obvious) Security info replacement scam eMail claiming to be from Microsoft. The return/reply eMail is a spoofed/fake eMail account to make on think it is legit, but the rest is completely bogus and dangerous. And worse, this has been going on for years. RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 10-05-2020 Last evening I was watching a LAME movie indeed. It's called Day of the Triffids. I don't recommend it at all. Concerning Zenki I gotta say it's repetitive. I don't like the witchcraft parts at all. Suzumiya is demonic in my opinion. Hell Girl is even worse. Grand Blue is idiotic, sci fi but idiotic, nonetheless. Bleach is repetitive, full of getting stronger obsessions. Right, there's Kon and Rukia trying to turn it into some lame comedy as well. OH and I hate those three soul mods, they surely look stupid. RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 10-12-2020 Yesterday I had to help somebody move to another house. I surely hated it. Today I noticed my knee is swollen. Great... Good news are I ate pizza and popcorn. You see I'm still watching a few anime there. Still, I could bite Silly for free if she doesn't mind. RE: What's on your mind? - DerVVulfman - 10-23-2020 I have AOL Dialup And for the past two weeks, AOL had cut my internet speeds in HALF. I;ve called them about it, told them that it matters not whether I use my laptop or PC, whether I use it at my home's phone line or a friend's in another city, whether I use one USB modem or another, or that I had turned off my anti-virus. They had offered me no answer, solution or excuse. RE: What's on your mind? - KDC - 10-23-2020 Welp, backed up my PS3 and PS4 saves into the Computer, this includes the PS2 classics version save file of RPG Maker 3, as well as any PS1 saves the PS3 has on the HDD. I'll probably do a cloud backup of these at a later date. But for now, I'm more focused on actually doing some lawn work tomorrow, given that it doesn't rain again overnight, or before I even start. Also some PS3 save files couldn't be copied normally, so backing those up will be a big pain if my PS3's HDD doesn't pull a certain thing like it did a few years before. RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 10-31-2020 I keep finding strange isekai anime. Just in case you don't know about that, it's a genre fully dedicated to traveling to another world. It doesn't matter if it's magical or high tech or steam punk or even their own version of Tron. At first they look interesting or unusual but every so often I wind up regretting how idiotic it actually is. Are they out of ideas? Sometimes it's a poor excuse of harem anime where the lead character practically has no reason to sweat in order to win the girls' hearts. There are others were romance isn't exactly an integral part of its plot but at some point the hero finds out his partner is a girl that looks pretty much like a weirdo. It could also be possible that he already likes a girl, especially if she comes from his own world. Even if he meets lots of other girls, like those that have better "attributes" or are sweeter than his girlfriend, he never manages to break up with the moronic or punk girl. This also reminds me of the fantasy anime Slayers. Gourry Gabriev never found a way to kick Lina Inverse aside, no matter how much Sylphiel Nels Lahda tried to impress him with her cooking skills. I'm afraid I've developed a disgust for dark fantasy anime. It feels more like a dark or gore series on Netflix. |
