RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 12-11-2020 What about eating them after slight boiling them in a steam bath? I hate B anime where characters look partially or severely deformed. Do mangaka hate their own characters? Or should we blame the animators for their low quality products? RE: What's on your mind? - DerVVulfman - 12-11-2020 (12-10-2020, 10:48 PM)MetalRenard Wrote: No roast dinner for me this festive season. I can't visit family for the holiday and I don't have a big enough oven, either. I miss my potatoes. :( How about a slow cooker? Maybe a small roast like a turkey roast rather than a whole turkey. That's what I'd do. RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 12-12-2020 Times magazine finally revealed who's the most important people of the year or anything the like. You might know them a little bit, they're Biden and Harris. Seriously Times!? They've accomplished pretty much nothing so far. Trump has convinced four Arab nations to normalize their relations with Israel this year! RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 12-15-2020 China and the next War?
As of late I have been thinking on how the Chinese could become the first world power in the next few years or decades. Money is not really an issue there and they have got access to Iranian oil. They have control of a significant portion of the vaccine and PPE markets. They have blamed Italy for a virus that had not killed a single Italian before it appeared in Wuhan, China. Italy does not complain about that, no matter how unlikely it sounds from the very beginning. China practically controls WHO and influences underdeveloped countries' health policies, including Peru's, Costa Rica's and Nicaragua's. So how do I think they can accelerate this process?
RE: What's on your mind? - KDC - 12-17-2020 Felt like trying something new. So I decided to give VR Chat a shot. So far, I can run the non-vr part of the game, luckily, and I get a semi-PlayStation Home impression. That and the fact that I have to actually talk to people I see in the game makes me more nervous, and shy, than type chatting. There's a few bugs here and there, but it should eventually iron out as updates come along. It's more like seeing people in person. Can you doctor what they see? Replace your visage with (rofl) Christopher Walken? It's more like seeing people in person. Can you doctor what they see? Replace your visage with (rofl) Christopher Walken? Funny thing about that, actually. I did notice that when I speak in my headset, given it's not muted, the avatar also has mouth movement. So that's a neat thing. RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 01-22-2021 So who's up to posting his or her game reviews or recommendations or devastating? critics here? It's weird not to find any on a gaming forum. RE: What's on your mind? - KDC - 01-26-2021 Had a blackout happen last night, due to the ice storm. The power did eventually come back on about two hours after that, but if it had been longer, I would've phone a parent to pick me and my great aunt up as the living conditions would've been unbearable. But now I have to find out why my Nintendo 2DS decided to have issues reading a SD card, which is actually a Micro SD Card inside a SD Card Reader thing, and find out what's going on with that. Though I gotta check if it's the card by laptop, and if I have to replace either the handheld or the SD card itself. Other than that, I did have to wait till the internet came back on today, but that's to be expected after a blackout that seem to have happened to the entire town I live in. RE: What's on your mind? - MetalRenard - 02-05-2021 My goodness, is this what it's like to know some scripting language? I wake up each day and I start problem solving and visualising lines of code for how to make a function work. This morning, the first thing I thought about was the 'get_global_mouse_position()' method in GDScript. Good job I enjoy it or I'd go crazy. |
