RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 10-17-2022 Early this morning, while it was still dark and silent, I purchased the game entitled One Way Heroics. I did it mainly because it was cheap on Steam and did not look as a resource hog that could freeze my screen. Man, I went to sleep only to notice that I could barely do so. Then I went to church. Later on I bought some delicious fried chicken and french fries. They were fine. This evening I was told that I shouldn't even get a snack because we had to wait till some delivery guy arrived with "something to eat." He brought some empanadas arregladas. Finally, I played One Way Heroics only to learn that I was supposed to move ight and keep doing so before the left border of the window could kill my character. My pet knight tried twice to get some items and leave the scene only to fail miserably. I thought he could retain some items after choosing the same "dimension" as his playground. Nope, he couldn't mainly because he lacked enough points to waste on a single storage slot! At the end I noticed that I truly had to watch Mango die over and over again if I ever wanted to get some decent stats and some virtual chest... some day, just some day. Well, guys, I simply told Steam to refund my money after playing for just 18 minutes. You can't undo other game developer's mi stakes or teach him or her how to make better choices next time. I guess, a crappy game will always be crap, no matter what we do or how we would wait for the day they finally patch the game. One Way Heroics' Score

He is a mouse not a rat! He has some dignity! Don't ever confuse him with a rat! Sadly, Wulfo loves to call him a rat on purpose. I guess CJ will have to eat all of his ramen to make him learn the lesson. I mean, I have a copy of the first installment of "Cheesy James: The Rodent Annoyance" on my PC, wondering a follow-up to Chapter I will appear. So nope, this is an untruth. My ramen is safe. You know that Chapter 3 was published back in July, 2021, right? RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 12-19-2022 75 minutes of gameplay and this is all I could get from FF7...
As a side note, I may say that I also had a tamal with salsa Lizano, a traditional Costa Rican sauce derived from old versions of English sauces that could be found here back in the early days of the XX century IIRC. RE: What's on your mind? - KasperKalamity - 12-25-2022 Merry Christmas all! If you remember me, and I remember everyone at least on this last page (holy crap you all need a life <3) The last 7 or so years I've been at this little local theatre doing acting and sketch comedy. Our theatre's yearly tradition is doing a live adaptation of the worst chirstmas movie ever made: Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. It's like if Plan 9 From Outer Space were a christmas movie. maximum schlocktitude. The audio isn't great, and the kids are terrible, but if you're alone today, I want you to know that you matter. He played the guy getting hung for stealing a horse. We did this show at a local brewery. I'm working on the editing from our newest live show; I Want a Sketchapotamus For Christmas [click here]We also assembled a pilot season like if we were a real tv flickety box tv show [/click here]. It's 4 episodes cut together from some of our live shows, and a day of filming we did at a studio RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 12-28-2022 I've never understood why the priests had to yell "wololo!" all day long. RE: What's on your mind? - Kain Nobel - 01-10-2023 So I've spent 99.2% of my life cell phone free. However, I do think about them sometimes. About phone culture, life with a cellphone. Then I got to thinking... Do they have an app for sending you alerts when somebody you know has been arrested, ticketed, in a car accident, hospitalized, etc? I'm sure we all have troubled and at-risk people in our lives. Do they have a specialized app for that? Can it send personalized alerts for and from loved ones? "John James was pulled over at 11:45PM at the intersection of 1st and Main St in Sometown, USA. John James is currently sitting in Sometown Adult Correction Facility, located at..." "Mary Sue was involved in an accident at the corner of X and Y ST. Condition : Undetermined (Pending...)" What about things like LifeAlert? "Help, I've fallen and I can't get up!" Does LifeAlert send family a message if grandma has slipped? RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 01-19-2023 This is one of the things I've been thinking about as of late: the OGG container. Quote:Ogg Skeleton provides structuring information for multitrack Ogg files. It is compatible with Ogg Theora and provides extra clues for synchronization and content negotiation such as language selection. It was only recently that I found out that OGG could also hold a FLAC codec. By the way, I've also been busy with some request. I'm not gonna provide any additional information on that specific topic. RE: What's on your mind? - Kain Nobel - 01-19-2023 I had no idea OGG could do all that. One thing I can say about OGG is it handles seamless looping music very well. I stopped rendering looped music tracks as MP3s because there is always a noticeable hiccup in the end-to-beginning loop. Prior to setting the "Only Use OGG for Loops" rule, I had to make sure the music had a definitive "fade out" with a pause to breathe because I already knew the MP3 wasn't going to keep that seam sewn tight. OGG sounds like an fascinating file type with a rabbit's hole of information and multimedia capabilities. I learned something new today, thanks! |
