The shade you picked out for shadows is too dark and dull. Except on the girl with the hood, it looks good there. It looks like you are just painting transparent black/grey over things to shade. Did I guess right?
Or perhaps you just need to use less shadows on the faces.

most of the shadows look good, except the above mentioned colors except the foreheads of the two girls, the shading makes no sense.
