This thread will be undergoing a rework and revision process soon.  By that, comments and content will be stored in another development log spoiler while individual pages will be set aside for the resource content itself.

THE SPRING CLEANING IN AUTUMN
IS COMPLETE

As I stated above, the thread has undergone some radical changes.

Most of the posts scattered within have now been placed within a second development log spoiler in the first page of this thread, so there are now fewer pages/posts as of now. But that doesn't mean the number of posts have 'DRASTICALLY' shrunk.  No No No.

There are over twenty (20) types of items that can be designed and used for the Half Kaiser project, whether they be hair styles, weapons, pants, beards and mustaches, and the like.  And for each type of item, there is at least one post.  No two item types share a single post anymore.  By that, there used to be one post that held the eyes, ears and face objects...  but no more.  Eyes now holds a singular post of its own.

The information on the Half Kaiser Battler Project is now its own separate post, leaving the first post itself as a sort of 'welcoming' post. And that welcoming post now has a table of contents.  The fun part about that table of contents is that you can CLICK any listed item within the table.  If you click the 'Weapons - Primary' listing, you will indeed be redirected to the post with all the weapons.

The first page of the Half Kaiser Battler project still concerns itself with content like template palettes, the designated names of the Poses and the folders in which to store, and more.  But it has been refashioned and cleaned.

And then...

The EYES have it.

There used to be only one set of eyes (in the various color groups) for the Female characters, and one set (again in various colors) for Male characters.  But no more.

As of now, you can choose between eyes that are meant  to have a glint of light on the iris as well as eyes that do not.  In essence, there are now twice as many eye graphics in which to choose.

Now to begin the creation of possible spooky resources....

THE HEADLESS
[Image: T-F-Skin-Headless-Med-DerVV.png]
Currently, only the female template design is available, the head lopped off to leave a stump where it was attached to the heck.  And it did take some time to make sure that the neck stump.  But all three basic colors (Dark, Medium, and Pale) are all ready.

But that is not all.  What if you wanted to have a battler that was... just the HEAD?

But that is not all.  What if you wanted to have a battler that was... just the HEAD? Give it some eyes, ears, some hair... and voila!.. a floating HEAD!  Or, use with a headless body at a different opacity (if you're crafty) and make more spookies!

An additional female head is available, one with transparent areas to allow template arms to show through if laid atop. It could be handy if someone wished to make an odd-shaped head  of their own that can be placed atop.

Currently, there are no headless male templates.  But if you think that's not desired... WRONG!

GUN OR NO...
A TUBE-TOP, BRUCE?
Well, now ya dang well seen everything.  Tube-Tops for guys.  And of course, in the CLOTHING: Tops section of the project.

Meanwhile, some corrections needed to be made to two resources.  The Female tube tops had some stray pixels where there should be none.  And the strapless dresses had some animation cels that still had shoulder straps.  Both of these having been corrected today.

Oh, and spooky resources are available for male battlers. Both a headless body and a set of floating head resources are now available for the males.

RE: HALF KAISER BATTLER PROJECT - DerVVulfman - 11-04-2022

FINALLY, SOME ARMOR!!!

It is about time, right?  Our first venture into armor, and three styles of chain-mail shirts and vests of basic steel have finally been crafted by our team of armorers in the Save-Point forgery.  And you can now find these shirts in the ARMOR: Shirt or Breastplate section of the project.

There are three styles of chainmail shirts, one that is merely a vest that leaves the shoulders and arms bare, one with long sleeves, and one with short sleeves.  This style assumes that the armor is simply pulled over your head, with no ties or fasteners. This armor resource is based upon one of the more generic and visibly recognizable styles, though others do exist.

There is currently nothing as extraordinary as the chain-mail dress worn by Tina Turner in "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome", and there is no ridiculous chain-mail bikini top worn by fictional heroines like Red Sonja.

This is the first piece of armor presented in the forum...  Surely, this will not be the last.

MORE ARMOR IN THE FORGE!!!
[Image: T-F-Armor04-Chain-Pants-Belted-DerVV.png]

The first set of chainmail leggings have been designed, though currently only for the ladies.  This fine set of armor uses the finest of steel and worked with experienced leathercrafters to let a single thick belt around the waist hold it in place. For any interested in protecting their legs and shins, this fine piece of armor may be found within the ARMOR: Battle-Skirt, Greaves or Leggings section of the project.

with the vest draped over and concealing the leggings' belt.

Again, there is only one set currently, and even then, only for female characters as of now. The actual shape of the armor and not the shape of the character legs must be considered, so they will not be 'form fitting'. As such, the leggings must be re-sculpted.  Meanwhile, plans for leggings held up by suspenders is also being considered as well as a split leggings style.

Again, there are no fantasy-style armors present as now, so you will not find any ridiculous chain-mail bikini briefs worn by fictional heroines like Red Sonja.

MALES NOT EXCLUDED!!!

The second set of chainmail leggings have been forged, now a matching set for the gentlemen.  This set of armor also uses the finest of steel, and our leathercrafters of renown supplied thick belts which allows it to be held in place around the waist. For any adventuring who seeks to protect their legs from harm, this fine armor may also be found within the ARMOR: Battle-Skirt, Greaves or Leggings section of the project.

RE: HALF KAISER BATTLER PROJECT - DerVVulfman - 11-12-2022

MORE NOGGIN PROTECTION!!!

The armorers at Save-Point were not satisfied with merely shirts and leggings, and decided to put their skills to the test.  Now introduced is the chainmail coif, a classic form of armor work by many a knight made of thin steel interlocking rings made in the same style as leggings and hauberks.

And as any other item work upon the head, be it hat or helm, his fine armor may also be found within the HEADWEAR: Hats or Helms section of the project.

And as always, the first set appears to be designed once again  for only female characters.  There is some discussion within the Save-Point forge's management why male heroes are being treated second-class or if it is mere coincidence.  Petitions from the peaks of Evercroft and the sands of the Quartz Sea have arrived with thousands of signatures. It seems many soldiers, chevaliers and city guards are upset, and have requested the foreman be replaced.

They have no idea how hard it is to craft such apparel. Laughing + Tongue sticking out

AND ADDITIONAL
NOGGIN PROTECTION!!!

It took too long. After chewing out the smiths at the Save-Point foundry, we finally received a chainmail coif for the male warriors and heroes you may wish to protect.

And as always, this fine armor may be found within the HEADWEAR: Hats or Helms section of the project.

RE: HALF KAISER BATTLER PROJECT - DerVVulfman - 11-20-2022

WHAT'S OLD IS NEW!!!

Well...well...well...

A fire was lit under the blacksmiths at the Save-Point Forge. They took up their hammers and tongs, and stretched out enough thick  coils to attach half-coifs to both nasal and viking helms, like the new viking helmet pictured below.

Both more protective than before, but more flexible than the larger full helms, warriors will now look fashionable with the new shipments of helmets now available.  Both the men's and lady's line of these fine steel helmets may be found within the HEADWEAR: Hats or Helms section of the project.

RE: HALF KAISER BATTLER PROJECT - DerVVulfman - 11-30-2022

WHEN STEEL ISN'T PRESENT
YOU STILL HAVE BRONZE!!!

Our smiths in the Save-Point Forge was inspired by the basic armor that most of the heroes are equipped, realizing they may not have the funds to purchase steel when they begin.  So while it isn't as durable a metal, our smiths began working with bronze.

Slightly weaker than those made of steel, our smiths crafted both nasal and viking helmets, putting special attention to the bands and rivets holding the helms together. And the viking visor polished as brighly as the rivets themselves.

Again, both the men's and lady's line of these inexpensive bronze helms may be found within the HEADWEAR: Hats or Helms section of the project.
