MAJOR OVERHAUL IN PROGRESS

For those wondering as to why the development of clothing, gear and other accessories have stalled, it is for an up-coming rework of the Half-Kaiser body templates and content suitable for use.

The recent work upon the Layered Spritesheet Tool now recognizes that a character may be either left-handed or right-handed.  This in difference to the original character templates which offered right-handed poses for most any actions but offered left-handed character positions when using missile-launching attacks (bows, rifles, pistols).  The upcoming templates, suggested as Generation 2 resources, will have proper hand coordination, whether you choose resources for a left-handed individual or a right-handed individual.

As to when content will be visible, there are some items that still need work before release.  The absolute bare minimum requires:
  • The body templates themselves (dark skin, medium skin, pale skin)
  • Bare minimum eye variations (at least one)
  • Bare minimum ear Variations (vulcan/tolkein elf and anime lop-ear elf)
  • Bare minimum head variations (klingon ridged and blankface)
  • Bare minimum hair variations (blue template cap as absolute minimum)
  • Bare minimum clothing variations (at least the unibody/one-piece)

Understandably, this will take some time.

I thank you for your patience.

ADDENDUM: Within the first page, I kept a screenshot of Showkaiser's statement where he declared that the Half Kaiser template was now public domain. When I first posted this image, I did so without actually providing a link to HBGames.Org where the image was captured. While the Half Kaiser subforum within HBGames no longer exists, this due to a complete forum restructure, I was to use the "Internet Archive" find and now provide a link to the original 2015 thread and his statement.
