to Version 9.0

Almost a complete rewrite, it has all the features of its predecessor and includes the script call that allows you to transport straight to a Vehicle Headquarters without having to be in it.

Totally new, the Submitted Patches section only has one now... One for my Lycan ABS as the patches are either no longer needed or not compatible with the new system.

Oh, and the system has a map / vehicle check system to see if you have too many events tagged to the same vehicle. Fun stuff. Happy

Aww...and here I was hoping this version might be the miracle I needed and fix my strange glitch XD

However, that is not the only reason for my post. Who am I to mislead your recent comment regarding my beta-testing after all? Laughing + Tongue sticking out

This is what happened when I exited the game to the title, intending to start new:

So far, this only appears to be happening after I was in the "Headquaters" map, strangely enough.


Also, if you enter a Vehicle and try to move to quickly, this happens:

Not sure if it was intentional or not, to remind the user that third layer terrain tags don't count, as I could not find any refference to that in the script or demo.


That aside, you still seem to be missing some corners. Laughing

Also, may I point out that your intro picture about the legal version of the RMXP is outdated as the price of it no longer is 60$ but 29.99$? Winking

Hahah! I was waiting for you to notice the clipped corners! Winking I remembered you having trouble with my previous version so I just knew you would want to take a look at the system. And insofar as the wooden ship running along the trees, that... I forgot to set the priorities of the trees and mountains to 3 So they would be drawn over the ship. My bad... but it isn't a vehicles flaw, just a tileset boo-boo.

Insofar as the boat in the ice cave. Yep, that one is a given. But what else is a given is that the ship has no working terrain tags to follow and it will not function properly in that map. It is also the duplicated 'canoe' that my error message system warned about. I intentionally left it in so users can see what happens when you goof up.

But... the spritesheet error? That is odd indeed. I thoroughly checked the reset systems, even attempting to bring up the F12 bug problem. And after reading your notice, I attempted to recreate your bug. Whether entering a HQ from the vehicle itself, or gaining access to the chest, I was not able to recreate the error you described.

I think you missunderstood the last part XD
The bug happens when I leave the game to the menu, go back to the titlescreen and then press new game. -After I have been in the Headquater at least once.
If it'll help you I'll record and upload videofootage of exactly what I did.

Also, I didn't even think about the possibility that the ship was meant to sail behind the trees XD That actually makes sense, now that I think about it and would explain why it looked the way it did =)
It's good that some of the bugs I found were not real bugs ^^ Means you did your job well after all *laughs*

Actually, I did understand that. I went through the whole Canoe > Boat > Dragon thing, going into the headquarters before I reach the cave... then hit End Game and went into a New Game. In that new game, I again went and did the Canoe > Boat > Dragon thing again. I went into the Dragon's HQ and exited out so I could land on the beach and enter the cave. After grabbing the treasure chest, I get teleported back into the dragon HQ again, and again I did the End Game > New Game thing. But, I also made a save game in one of the routines, and that save-game worked.

You have me very confused. I did this testing repeatedly before I posted this. Is this straight from my demo???

It is.
I have tested it multible times as well, to try and find out what caused it.
The only thing I changed was switching out the project file to get rid of the "this is from an old version etc." bug but I hardly think that would be the cause.

So, after flying the Dragon to the cave, you enter and head to the cave of fire and hit the chest which teleports you straight to the HQ. You exit out of the Dragon HQ to the Dragon and re-enter straight through to the cave of fire again, hit End Game and then New Game. That generates "Event Spawner: Line 1085 NoMethodError"

I'll take a look when I get home when I get the time.

Actually, it wasn't an error with the script per-say. Odd as it seems, (and according to the line number I saw on your video) the title screen attempted to draw events courtesy of SephirothSpawn's Event Spawner... not that it happened in my end. So, I have since added my 'Add Event Fix' which is in a thread I posted for Event Spawner fixes.

Oh... and....

As I added a slight fix to the boarding system so the player cannot control the hero when he/she is getting onto a ship... which alleviates the issue of the ships being pushed off the shore as you showed. And... added the Add Event Fix which (strangely) I still didn't personally need. Weird. OH... but you got credit for the bug report for all that. Happy

I wasn't looking for credit but good to see that everything is fixed now ^^ -Including tileset prioritys, corners and Disclamir XD
