Monster Breeder Script? - newkidatterrace - 10-21-2010 I've been thinking about this for awhile and was wondering if it was possible to make a script that would make it so that a character could have like a monster farm system similar to that from the Monster Rancher Series. For those unfamiliar the system works like this, the main character breeds their monster, uses training to increase the monsters stats, and then battles said monster at the arena. There are similar scripts out there, but the few i've seen have the main character or breeder in battle with the monster. Is there a script out there or can one be made that has the main character walking around on the maps, but when the battle starts the character is swapped out for their selected monster or unit? Monster Breeder Script? - newkidatterrace - 10-21-2010 Its' not quite right, the Script I'm looking for would the player to do battles and gaining exp (which would only be used for learning new skills), to increase stats the player has to assign the monster to do a specific training, each training taking a certain amount of time (days). This becomes important because certain tournaments and events only occur on certain days. They get created in a Shrine based on the Artifact that you use. Only Monster can be created at a time, so the player has the option of sticking with basic monster for a long time, or as new monsters become available starting over with a new monster. |
