RE: What's up, RMers? - kyonides - 02-06-2016

Well, I finished crafting my script KStates XP that let states be replaced by other states right when they wear off or states may deal n times their original damage value after being hit by a skill that inflicts the same state as the current one. HP and SP regen effect is also available in battle as well as on the map. Game devs will be capable of setting up the actual HP or SP heroes gain (as regen effect) or lose. Oh and some weapons might inflict magical damage instead of physical one meaning they will suck your SP like mana vampires would do it. (Do they even exist?) HP and SP damage were separated to make sure even both could pop up at the same time if usual conditions are met.

Perhaps you are wondering now why I didn't post it on the board already. There's only one reason not do so and it's quiet simple, I haven't properly tested my new script so I'm waiting for somebody to do that for me. In my experience somebody that is not closely related to a script development process might find unexpected weird bugs that the scripter never thought they could pop up like those annoying ads offering you a way to get pills or a couple the easy way.

This caught my attention. For the longest I've wanted a fully functional HP/SP regen script. The one I've got only works in battle as the regen state acts like poison and damages the player on the field.

As for the tester, maybe I could be of assistance?

That KStates XP script sounds indeed very interesting.

I would give it a try for sure. :)

I don't know, guys, I don't feel like I want to translate more scripts. That means it may take a while before I publish it for the English speaking niche of the RPG Maker world.

Well, I would test it, as I can understand Spanish fairly well, however, I don't really have a computer with rmxp.

RE: What's up, RMers? - Melana - 02-07-2016

Since I already managed to configure japanese scripts, I think I wouldn't have that big issues with a spanish script. ^^

I would try it.

I have a fellow gamer who will help me with the spriting for my game. Now all I need is a musician.

Ahzoh? MetalRenard when school is out? *shrugs* Oh, and for all I knew, you coulda been talking about some other systems I may have translated or worked with. Terminology is key, right? Winking Maybe a primer on ABS, ATB, CTB, TBS, SBS, ... all the variations... should be made.

And Kyonides? Like Melana, Japanese scripts are no problem to me. Hell, Moghunter's spaghetti code was tougher than me translating Paradog's or Claihm's scripts. Winking

Have y'all read my new project page. I have added a backstory.

I only grabbed what you first posted for the Gazette.

SNAGGING NOW! Oh, you added MORE background...
