I remember a boss monster I fought had such a cool AOE projectile attack that I want to implement something similar into my game:

I've been wondering lately if people do like game devs including weird stuff in their game projects like a fake political debate like I did in my Kustom XP demo, where Aluxes wants to convince his audience that neither Cyrus and some mysterious character named Trickster could never solve all of their issues if any of them becomes their next mayor. In my very "humble" opinion, such debate wasn't funny but predictive and stupid of course
What did other people think about such extra features?

I think it adds some live into a usually rather boring script demo.

I think having entertainment adds to the fun of your demo, and would make me more likely to use a script. And if I run into any bugs in the demo, it won't mess with anything I'm doing on my own game, and it helps keep things clean until I add the fixed version into the full game
Plus, Aluxes had a great plan! They just don't understand how great it was!

I've been working hard on Destiny of End, and I've been working on writing a few side-stories as well that may show up as scenes or simple explanations. Placeholder images are hard to look at, but I gotta do what I gotta do to move things forward.
I'm also fleshing out some optional characters that each have their own stories as well, and if you decide to take or not take certain people, the story takes a few small changes. Nothing major, except for one set of characters... if you have 3 specific optional allies, you get a very prominent and powerful 4th ally. It leads to a special and more complete ending. Yup, 2 endings. It won't be a "Good ending, bad ending" type of thing. Just an ending with a few extra stuff, more like.
I'll write a guide someday on getting characters when I release DoE, but that'll be a LONG time. YEARS.
Yeah, a dev writing their own character guide is basically almost against the rules, but hey
Also been writing the story of Lina and her crew as well.
Yup, I'm back at it! And I wrote the first page in storybook format to see if it'd be worth making into a book at some point. May post that first page here someday, but I'm not making any promises!!!
So yeah, RMing has been fun lately.

Well, seeing how people keep ignoring my Kustom scripts, I decided I had to soon offer a simplied version where other scripts like KyoDiscounts or Gem Roulette or KElemRES would be dropped. In other words Kustom XP should not be based on a particular somebody's wishes but be as general and basic as possible. This also means it will not include any intro or debate, no matter how many times people call it a boring demo. I do not know if I will keep developing the complex version of Kustom XP.

I have been wandering if I should include more candidates for mayor... I am not implying it is not a tough electoral process already, but who knows, some rocker fox might think every issue has a solution via playing music
Just an example of could still happen later on.
