Oh come on! For Japanese girls it's a stigma even to laugh or eat something in public without hiding their mouths. =_=

Just in case you needed some help to pick a visual novel engine made for you. Laughing

Steam users' comments on Game Character Hub: Portfolio

Auphy Wrote:This should be MV Edition instead of Portfolio because it only add capability to create MV character. Nothing new, nothing to brag about. Dev broke promise to add MV capability to GCH and instead make this one to grind more money off his customers whom trusted him.

Shad2225 Wrote:After more than 20 hours here I decided to post this review, been honest on this software so for those that are having doubts on buying this software and want to know the difference between this and the old version of GCH I didn't find anything new for the user to make , this one felt like the old version only with some new icons and the user interface changed , but the tools here are the same as the old version only now its compatible with mac .
...
The software is not bad to make your sprites and it can be very useful too but, this still lack of new features because it only has RPG Maker MV sprite support (and you must have the software to use them too keep in mind that) and this software can be better use for other engines as well but since its only focusing on the rpg maker series this will take its potencial away instead on making it a great sprite maker for any engine...

Z Wrote:Very disappointing. One of my worst experiences on Steam thus far. This really provides nothing new to the original Game Character Hub besides the MV "support," which is actually just a rip of the RPG Maker MV Character Generator (literally nothing new added). If you already own RPG Maker MV, then there's no reason why you'd need this. If you own the original Game Character Hub, then there's no reason you'd need this either.

Additionally, I emailed their support on 3 different occasions asking for the 50% off due to having purchased the original Game Character Hub and their offer for the discount. This entire thing should've just been a new add-on to the original software. There's nothing new added here that RPG Maker MV's Character Generator wouldn't already provide.

Yeap, it seems Degica keep publishing weird stuff indeed. Laughing

I'm leaving this link in case you wanna compile it (if necessary) to run emulated NES games with Ruby!
Their goal is to demonstrate Ruby can get some decent speedup before and right after reaching the 3.0 milestone.

I've brought some screenshots, guys! Shocked

They're here just for you to take a look at both of them!

Well, I've been working on some skill menu script of sorts lately. Right! I've been using old stuff I had made plus a generic backdrop I crafted thanks to GIMP 2. Sad The bad news are that I dunno what else I can do to improve it or make it look any different.

P.S.

Happy with a sweat Yeah, I know... I haven't included all the status information you'd normally find there. Let's be honest, it's quite late already! Shocked Besides I gotta get some sleep. Laughing

Nice touch, using the stones from Jem Roulette as your 'item type' separators. Ever think about 1 column displays with that background behind? Centered or justified one side or the other? And I trust you're using element tagging, right?

Well, why don't you go visit my latest thread? I'm pretty sure the results are curious indeed! Shocked At least I hope so! Confused

I'm working on one of my first Underworld Dungeons.

These dungeons are all interlinked and their paths crisscross the planet, even under the ocean, from continent to continent. The problem is, with them being so deep underground, the player rarely has access to the save data system since the save points cannot connect to the sky data network systems. Occasionally one might find an illuminated Save Point in a cavernous area with access to Overworld light, be it sun lit or moon lit, but these are few and far between. Alas, don't despair if you find a dead Save Point, for there is still hope. Maybe you just have to go one story up and reveal the light somehow, or clear a couple of stories and solve a puzzle.

Russians have influenced me to build a Kremlin Palace tileset, so that is what I am set out to do today.

Normally I'd skip any announcement of resource packs, but $15+ for about 900 MB sounds like a real deal to anybody... O_O

On another maker related forum JosephSeraph posted this monster...

It's detailed but still got some old fashioned style many might love. Plus you cannot trust succubus, guys! Shocked

I[m piddling around on another script. In essence, the leveling system from the Elder Scrolls series. Yeah, you'd think you could only level up from combat with Attacks, Items, or Skills.... but I'm planning on little extra code you can sneak into events or custom scripts so you can gain points in lockpicking, running, baking a cake, whatever.

RE: What's up, RMers? - kyonides - 12-03-2019

That sounds like an indie game published somewhere else that featured a female Baker... =_= Why baking!? Food is only great when served cold! O_o? I think it was vengeance instead, but my point remains the same! Angry I hate when I can't taste a game's or novel's dish, why people wanna make me explode out of rage!?

Nope, I won't be envious of Aluxes even if he had a pepperoni pizza. Never! Angry
