I mean, seriously, they fucked up many of the concepts when they dubbed the animated series to English ( I know this wasn't WB, but Hollywood in general ), what makes them think that they can get over their coke-addled paranoia in order to do a decent live action representation? Are they complete morons? ( rhetorical question, as we all know the answer, unless you are from Hollywood, in which case you are clueless ) Oh, I also saw they wanted to do Death Note Live Actions. I have the lingering fear that it's just going to make me cry. T_T I aggree with rm-rf's point that anime/manga does not translate well into live action. The styles just do not go together. Possibly the best (and even this is pushing it a bit in my opinion) anime-live action film I've seen is Cashern, but even that was still pretty iffy.
