Charlie Fleed's CTB - Issue with party formation - JackMonty - 02-04-2013 Hi All, I'm struggling to change how party formations are disaplyed uisng Charlie Fleed's CTB 3.2. I have five characters and currently four are displayed in the front row and one in the back row. I wanted all five to be on the same row. I checked in the CTB script and couldn't see anything relating to formation so I thought it would fall under the Animated Battlers section... I had a read of the manual and couldn't find a section on this... Could someone let me know if this is possible and which part of the script controls this please? Thanks! RE: Charlie Fleed's CTB - Issue with party formation - DerVVulfman - 02-05-2013 Heyoo! While Charlie's system is impressive (or possibly the best ^_^ ), the graphics system is Minkoff's Animated Battlers - Enhanced which is a system that changes the default frontview system into a sideview system. I consider it only a visual enhancement system used by other battlesystems. And it is a system that I had inherited from the original creator, Minkoff, from back in 2006... quite a bit of time to develop it, eh? Within my thread for AnimBat, you would scroll around 1/2 way through the first post, past the scripts and Pre-Rendered Configs, to find the spoiler for the Formations system. I removed an early version of Formations from the system because it was severely limited. You'll find that the formations add-on can let you make various formation layouts. You can evem make multiple formations that you can switch between in-game, though changing in-battle may be a little odd-looking. RE: Charlie Fleed's CTB - Issue with party formation - JackMonty - 02-06-2013 Thank you very much for your response! I must have been using an old version of the Animated Battlers as I didn't have a formation section - I've updated the Animated Battlers now and amended the formation script and have successfully got all five characters displayed on one line! |
