For no good reason I just wanted to share with you a partial list of anime I either liked or hated and some of the ones I just watched without expecting too much from them.

Gundam Wing - even if many people criticize it

Uninhabited Planet Survive! or Planet Survival - kind of exaggerated or accelerated

YuYu Hakusho - fights and more fights?
FLCL - non sense
Dusk Maiden of Amnesia - the male protagonist is an idiot
Zetman - too accelerated, too few episodes

Gantz - aliens are not that hard to kill, Kei has too many idiots surrounding him / her
Maya the bee - I was a kid when I watched it but have no fond memories of it

Seikimatsu Occult Academy - too ridiculous, again, plot is a mess IMHO
Claymore - too feminist for my taste
Hellsing Ultimate - too many nazi elements were included which makes it a bit suspicious

Who'd criticize Gundam Wing? ôo Or to be more specific: what are the things people find faulty with it?
Other then that...I see some in your lists that I love, some I've never heard of and one I hate.

Hrmmm... I was speaking to RosyPosy about this not too long ago and she told me to watch Gurenn Lagann. You'll like it if you liked Gundam Wing.

Just did a quick check on it and it sounds promising. It even has a german adaption -for the payTV anime channel, that is, which expains why I have not head of it. I shall look into it tough if given the chance. ^^

hmm since Im so anime influenced I guess My listes would be like forever so Im gunna eliminate the "just watched list and abridge the rest to special Examples)-Ive watched every anime I swear Im doing you a favor XD)

High school of the dead - I like zombies and boobs- youd think Id love this- but I hated it.
Ranma 1/2
Inuyasha - Rumiko never seems to get love even though shes not a bad manga artist- I just think she need a story writer)
Blue Gender - I dont know why this was made honestly
Bleach - Fuck ichigo and fuck Tite kubo Hes a terrible story writer and this trait doesnt get any help when the animation studios get on it.
Dragonball GT - Lol no just no
Digimon seasons 4 and 5 - Idk what happened to the writters. they just stopped trying
Beyblade - You know Yugioh is a silly game to make into a world power with magic powers-but thats the fun in it. Beyblade however loses why that is fun and just runs with the gimmic alone.
Yugioh Zexal - I love all three protags of yugiohs series' Yugi is so innocent and lovable-jaden is charismatic and uplifting Yusei is Menacing and aggressive. But this new guy is a fucking dunce. I dont mind characters who arent smart in anime- but this passes a line. Hes not ash Ketchum dumb even. Hes sub-human stupid. And that sours the entire show- I still watch it, but every time this little "hero talks it grates on my very soul"
And finally what could inspire hate faster than - Casshern Sins

Seriously Its slow paced- doom and gloom-And repetitive. Then add the fact that no attempt was made at all to capitalize on the beautiful Artwork it had. Seriously it was striaght up gorgeous. to bad it failed at allowing me to connect to a single character, a must for a show thats slow paced and doomy. The characters suck their reasoning is forced- and please Something this pretty should never be wasted on such characters.
That is done. And yeah imagine the list in the middle XD

Well, yamina, people say that Gundam Wing is one of the weakest of all the Gundam anime ever published and start referring people to previous versions where the mecha robots should be much more amazing than in Gundam Wing.
BTW, I already updated my list on my first post.

FLCL just didn't do it for me personally. I enjoyed it to an extent and I understood the plot completely (I even double checked by reading other opinions online and they confirm what I thought). I guess I'm more interested in the darker anime.
That reminds me, anybody seen Clannad? That's soul-destroyingly sad.

@kyonides: How odd, I've heard people say that about Gundam Seed a lot. Also, should the characters not be more importand then the Gundams? ôo
Then again: I know the endless debate between fans of Grandia and Grandia II firsthand, so I assume this situation is similar.
