The Lycan ABS Isometric Maps Patch - DerVVulfman - 06-21-2014 The Lycan ABS Isometric Maps Patch
Version: 1.1 Introduction This system is designed to allow users of the Lycan ABS to work with the Isometric Maps system by GubiD with original code by MGC and Siegfried. This would afford you TRUE Isometric map action rather than a pseudosystem built into the Lycan ABS. This includes mouse control if the Mousie system is in use. However, it is recommended that paths be made wide to accomodate both the companions and mouse point-and-click systems. Narrow and/or complex paths would be prone to confuse companions and prevent accurate mouse movement. Script (>CLICK<) Instructions Plenty, and in the demo for all three scripts. Requires Designed The Lycan ABS v 9.8 or greater and GubiD's Isometric Maps Revision 1.0 Compatibility Mousie: The Mouse System version 3.2, Frank's MultiPose Charactersets for the Lycan ABS, and The Lycan ABS Paperdoll System Credits and Thanks Due credit goes to JayRay of Save-Point.Org who prodded me to work on such a feature, and supplying the initial Iso Engine code. Also due credit and thanks go to GubiD for the additional code that generates tile coordinates for the mouse cursor. RE: The Lycan ABS Isometric Maps Patch - DerVVulfman - 06-25-2014
BUMPY TIME
Now to Revision 1.1 An issue came up with the recent release of GubiD's Isometric Maps which dealt with map passabilities and height differences. As such, a minor fix was added to the system's passable_heights? system that was rewritten in the Lycan patch. |
