Well thank you. I was trying to make it look more realistic and tried to consider more the light source. Today I began experimenting with the canvas twice the size. Same weapons concept and sticking with lines. I figured I can move to adding curves and add more details once I get better at simple line items.

Instead of using a wood palette I used a skin/flesh color palette. Maybe I should try adding texture to the wood ?

Hey nice swords, its always a good decision to look at other pixel swords to get more ideas.
Or if you are not sure how to pixel something, get a picture or a real model in case, so you can look at it to draw.

the more texture you want to use the complex it gets with pixels, specifically if the size of the weapon is small.
