MKXP for Windows, Linux, Mac - kyonides - 03-04-2016

Well, people, I guess some of you already heard about MKXP but now I come to tell you what I have experienced while testing it using the 2015 version on Windows 7.

So far if you included either an uncompressed or compressed game, it will run smoothly at 39 or 40 fps. Keep in mind this was the top fps rate included in RMXP. I even included custom scripts of mine like KItem, Unik Weaponry and KEvents XP and all of them worked fine. The only thing is that you should include files like mkxp and fluidsynth.dll (on Windows) to make sure it will work normally. Even so they say on their githup repo that they added features like mouse clicks and coordinates.

As I already stated on the title above it's also available for Linux and Mac. I just need to switch OS to test it on Linux but I hope I will get decent results there.

Sadly MKXP does not include any editor.

As I was telling you a few days ago, MKXP is also available in Linux and yes, I already tested the game while running Kubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr. Regarding fluidsynth on Linux I can only say I couldn't make it work properly because of the lack of soundfonts but I had soundKonverter that could easily convert the midi to ogg (or mp2) even if the end result might sound a bit, eh, different and there is a stop before the BGM or any other audio file loops...
