Fergus FitzPatrick - Human - Male - 24
Fergus is the main character of the story. He is an alumni of Tymeria University and on his final year. He is studying Alchemy and Apothecary Sciences. He is ready to see the world, but is pressured by his professor to stay and teach at the university. His Fiance, who is also an alumni, is pressuring him to stay in Tymeria as well.
Shana O'Reilly - Human - Female - 22
Shana is the fiance of Fergus. She is also on her final year and is studying the Element of Water. She hopes to be able to master its power and supply the town with limitless energy. Her father and brother run the docks east of town.
Professor McGuiness - Elf - Male - 300+ - NPC
Prof. McGuiness is the professor of the Sciences and Magics at TMU. He is also the mentor to Fergus. He's trying to get Fergus to stay in Tymeria and teach. Prof. McGuiness is also on the Tymerian Council.
Kerrigan Shizen - Tiefling - Female - 31
Kerrigan is a tiefling archaeologist researching the ruins of the the ancient temples riddled throughout Gaia. She aims to unveil the stories of how her people came to be and their rich history. She hasn't revealed herself to Fergus and Shana, so they assume the she is a human for the time being.

Fergus and his fiance, Shana, are going on an annual mushroom hunt in the Tymerian woods. While trying to retrieve the last mushroom they need, they get stuck on the other side of a river that they cannot cross. They have to make their way through the caves to find their way home, but end up in an underground temple, where they meet Kerrigan. Kerrigan agrees to help them get home if they help her find an ancient scroll in the temple. After returning home, they find that Shana's father died of illness while they were gone and so they decide to set off again with Kerrigan in search of all the ancient texts of Loria, learning the history of their world and its cultures.
