The Weekly Gazette 05-05-2024 - DerVVulfman - 05-06-2024 (April 29 to May 5, 2024)
Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself Official Area Occasions
Entering this week into our community is Sesame. A fan of the RPGMaker series from South Korea, Sesame has a quick game in Korean already made, an X/Twitter link already available. However, due credits are being honored, which heralded Sesame's entry. Quickly appearing was DerVVulfman to send greets, and gave information to Sesame that a script was available to generate game-dialogue text file for proof reading and possible-translation purposes. By the end of the week, parawixlia and joined. Strong-skilled in the graphic arts, he picked up RPGMaker XP and was advised to visit our community. He was instantly greeted by kyonides who pointed him in the direction of DerVVulfman to hound. DerVVulfman later showed and acknowledged how often that occurs. General Chat
During the holiday seasons, you are sure to learn that DerVVulfman is watching musical house-lighting displays if asked What are YouTubing. However, AVGB-KBGaming found much the same house-lighting displays, but for Metal bands such as Disturbed and Slayer. This week's News of the World was replete with Pro-Hamas protests around the globe. Over 40 Universities under siege with some liberal politicians choosing to attack the police whom arrested hundreds. Of those arrested, over half were not even students at the colleges and funding and planning for the encampments came from around the world. But the protests are indeed worldwide, government buildings in the UK under siege by Pro-Hamas mobs, and Pro-Hamas mobs storming the Sorbonne University of Paris and other colleges throughout France. But it isn't just Anti-Israeli protests that hit the news but human trafficking. Just within the past four months this year, over 1000 Venezuelans migrants have been arrested for felonies, and Venezuela plans to increase the flow of illegals with air-flights while its administration continues to 'disappear' anyone opposed to Maduro's re-election. And as the U.K. announced its first actual deportation and removal of thousands of illegals, masked protestors arrived to surround the first busload and prevent its departure by slashing tires, this before the police intervened and made arrests. The news couldn't be worse for U.S. President Biden, Republicans working to block his plans to import Palestinians refugees despite known failures to vet both Afghan refugees and those coming through the southern border, Biden's willingness to give convicted felons the right to vote, sharing an air base with Russia itself, and calling long-time friend Japan Xenophobic. This, while Former President and Candidate Donald Trump is threatened with Jail time for Contempt during his New York Bookkeeping trial, and outspoken critic of President Biden, Democrat Henry Cuellar is indicted for Bribery by the Biden Department of Justice. The Scottish Prime Minister resigning after fallout from his Hate Speech Censorship Law, Conservative Parliament leader kicked out for calling Canada's Trudeau a wacko, the first president of Haiti since the 2021 assassination, millions of bullets vanished from Columbia's military arsenal, U.S.'s Blinken hoping Hamas agrees to the latest hostage deal, French President Macron calling for troops in Ukraine/Russian war and use of Nukes, and so much more hit this week's news. For those wondering What's up among RMers in the forum, suggestions to completely verify if indeed Steel Beast 6Beets issue is kyonides' equip skills script alone, or if something hidden within his script list could be the culprit. However, kyonides supplied some supplemental code just in case. Meanwhile, DerVVulfman revealed that he had been hard at work archiving all the script content of another gaming forum that collapsed a month ago. And if one had a thing for retro-styled tilesets, kyonides reported a sale at Komodo is nearing its end. Complete Projects

If you were curious about all the new features within HiddenChest RGSS Player Executable as schM0ggi, kyonides replied that the Readme.md file contained most of the details. Do know that for Linux users, his executables work solely for Ubuntu Distros 22.04 and 24.04. Scripts Database
The KTimers script for RPGMaker XP was updated to now include a script call that can impose triggering limits. However, the switch limitation feature works only as part of conditional branch system. The KItemRefill XP by kyonides allowed you to have items with multiple uses, like potions with 5 servings, and let you re-fill those items. But only now did he include the classic feature that certain items cannot be refilled once fully used. Now, you can define items that will vanish when all doses, charges or usefulness has vanished. A correction needed to be implemented within the RPG::ME Extended by kyonides after discovering a scope issue was being triggered, one that would previously cause your game to fatally crash. If you are one who wishes a retro 80s or 90s fantasy movie flare, be sure to hit up Eric Matyas as he continues Sharing his Original Music and Sound. This week had been busy, but he was able to compose "Trouble in Dreamland". It evokes being within a fairytail land with its tinkling chime of crystals throughout, but with a dissonant undertone between electric violas and sythensized wind instruments. Well, that's it for this week. "Ask not what you can do for your country. Ask what's for lunch" - Orson Welles (1915-1985) (Oscar winning "Citizen Kane", the infamous "War of the Worlds" radio show, the original Transformers "Unicron") PROSPECTIVE GAZETEERS!
